Isaiah 1:3-5
King James Version
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

3 The ox (A)knows its owner,
and the donkey its master's crib,
but Israel does (B)not know,
my people do not understand.”
4 Ah, sinful nation,
a people laden with iniquity,
(C)offspring of evildoers,
children who deal corruptly!
They have forsaken the Lord,
they have (D)despised (E)the Holy One of Israel,
they are utterly (F)estranged.
5 Why will you still be (G)struck down?
Why will you (H)continue to rebel?
The whole head is sick,
and the whole heart faint.

They have abandoned(D) the Lord;
they have despised(E) the Holy One of Israel;(F)
they have turned their backs on Him.
5 Why do you want more beatings?
Why do you keep on rebelling?
The whole head is hurt,
and the whole heart is sick.
