Bàn Thờ Dâng Hương

30 Làm một bàn thờ bằng gỗ si-tim để dâng hương. 2 Bàn thờ này hình vuông, dài một am-ma, ngang một am-ma và cao hai am-ma,[a] có các sừng được gắn liền và trở thành một khối với bàn thờ. 3 Dùng vàng ròng bọc mặt bàn, các cạnh bàn, các sừng và làm đường viền khắp xung quanh bàn. 4 Làm mỗi bên bàn hai cái khoen vàng và gắn khoen vào ngay bên dưới đường viền, để giữ đòn khiêng. 5 Làm hai cái đòn khiêng bằng gỗ si-tim bọc vàng. 6 Đặt bàn thờ này trước bức màn che Rương Giao Ước và Nắp Chuộc Tội đậy trên Rương, là nơi Ta sẽ gặp con.

7 A-rôn phải đốt hương thơm trên bàn thờ này vào mỗi buổi sáng, khi trông nom các đèn, 8 và cũng phải đốt hương khi người đốt đèn lúc chạng vạng tối; như vậy hương sẽ được đốt thường xuyên trước mặt CHÚA, từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác. 9 Đừng đốt trên bàn thờ này thứ hương gì khác, cũng đừng dâng tế lễ thiêu hay lễ tưới rượu trên đó. 10 Mỗi năm một lần, A-rôn sẽ thực hiện lễ chuộc tội trên các sừng của bàn thờ. Lễ chuộc tội hằng năm này phải được thực hiện với huyết con sinh tế chuộc tội cho các thế hệ tương lai. Đây là một bàn thờ rất thánh cho CHÚA.

Tiền Chuộc Tội

11 Sau đó CHÚA phán dạy Môi-se rằng: 12 “Khi con kiểm tra dân số Y-sơ-ra-ên, mỗi người phải nộp cho CHÚA một món tiền chuộc mạng. Như vậy chứng bệnh dịch sẽ không phát ra khi con kiểm tra họ. 13 Mỗi người được kiểm kê sẽ nộp nửa sê-ken[b] theo hệ cân đo Nơi Thánh, mỗi sê-ken bằng hai mươi gê-ra. Nửa sê-ken này là tiền dâng hiến cho CHÚA. 14 Tất cả những người được kiểm tra, là người từ hai mươi tuổi trở lên đều phải nộp món tiền dâng này cho CHÚA. 15 Người giàu không nộp hơn nửa sê-ken và người nghèo không nộp kém khi các ngươi dâng hiến cho CHÚA để chuộc mạng sống mình. 16 Con nhận tiền chuộc mạng này do dân Y-sơ-ra-ên nộp và xử dụng vào việc Trại Hội Kiến. Đây là một kỷ niệm cho dân Y-sơ-ra-ên trước mặt CHÚA, khi họ nộp tiền để chuộc mạng mình.”

Bồn Nước Bằng Đồng

17 CHÚA phán dạy Môi-se rằng: 18 “Làm một cái bồn bằng đồng, với chân cũng bằng đồng, dùng để rửa ráy. Đặt bồn vào khoảng giữa Trại Hội Kiến và bàn thờ và đổ nước vào bồn. 19 A-rôn và các con trai người sẽ dùng nước trong bồn để rửa tay chân. 20 Bất cứ khi nào vào Trại Hội Kiến, họ phải lấy nước rửa tay chân để khỏi chết. Cũng vậy, mỗi khi đến gần bàn thờ để dâng tế lễ thiêu cho CHÚA 21 họ cũng phải rửa tay và chân để khỏi phải chết. Đây là một mạng lệnh vĩnh viễn cho A-rôn và dòng dõi người từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác.”

Dầu Thánh

22 CHÚA phán dạy Môi-se rằng: 23 “Con lấy các hương liệu sau đây: năm trăm sê-ken[c] một dược nước, hai trăm rưởi sê-ken đan quế, hai trăm rưởi sê-ken nhựa thơm,[d] 24 năm trăm sê-ken quế bì, tất cả đều theo hệ cân đo Nơi Thánh, và một hin[e] dầu ô-liu. 25 Một thợ chuyên chế nước hoa sẽ dùng các hương liệu này chế ra một thứ dầu thánh. Đây là một thứ dầu thánh. 26 Dùng dầu này xức lên Trại Hội Kiến, Rương Giao Ước, 27 bàn và các dụng cụ của bàn, chân đèn và các dụng cụ đốt đèn, bàn thờ dâng hương, 28 bàn thờ dâng tế lễ thiêu và các dụng cụ của bàn thờ, bồn nước và chân bồn. 29 Con biệt riêng các món này ra thánh để tất cả đều trở nên rất thánh và bất cứ thứ gì đụng đến cũng đều được thánh hóa.

30 Con xức dầu phong chức lên A-rôn và các con trai người để họ phục vụ Ta trong chức vụ thầy tế lễ. 31 Con cũng hãy nói với dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: ‘Đây là dầu thánh và các ngươi phải coi là một vật thánh. 32 Đừng đổ dầu này trên thân thể của người nào cả và cũng đừng chế dầu theo công thức này. Đây là dầu thánh và các ngươi phải coi là một vật thánh. 33 Bất cứ ai chế dầu giống như dầu này và bất cứ người nào đổ dầu trên người không phải là thầy tế lễ sẽ bị truất ra khỏi hội chúng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên.’ ”

Hương Thánh

34 CHÚA phán dạy Môi-se: “Con lấy các hương liệu gồm có hoa yểm hương, phong tử hương và nhũ hương nguyên chất, tất cả đều có phần lượng bằng nhau, 35 và một thợ chuyên chế nước hoa sẽ chế thành một thứ hương thánh. Đây là thứ hương thánh, có muối và tinh chất. 36 Lấy một phần nghiền thành bột và rảy bột này trước Rương Giao Ước trong Trại Hội Kiến là nơi Ta sẽ gặp con. Hương này rất thánh. 37 Không được chế hương theo công thức này để dùng cho mình; phải coi đây là một vật thánh cho CHÚA. 38 Bất cứ ai làm một thứ hương giống hương này để thưởng thức sẽ phải bị truất khỏi hội chúng Y-sơ-ra-ên.”

O altar do incenso

30 E farás um altar para queimar o incenso; de madeira de cetim o farás. 2 O seu comprimento será de um côvado, e a sua largura, de um côvado; será quadrado, e de dois côvados, a sua altura; e as suas pontas farão uma só peça com ele. 3 E com ouro puro o forrarás, o seu teto e as suas paredes ao redor, e as suas pontas; e lhe farás uma coroa de ouro ao redor. 4 Também lhe farás duas argolas de ouro debaixo da sua coroa; aos dois lados as farás, de ambas as bandas; e serão para lugares dos varais, com que será levado. 5 E os varais farás de madeira de cetim e os forrarás com ouro. 6 E o porás diante do véu que está diante da arca do Testemunho, diante do propiciatório que está sobre o Testemunho, onde me ajuntarei contigo. 7 E Arão sobre ele queimará o incenso das especiarias; cada manhã, quando põe em ordem as lâmpadas, o queimará. 8 E, acendendo Arão as lâmpadas à tarde, o queimará; este será incenso contínuo perante o Senhor pelas vossas gerações. 9 Não oferecereis sobre ele incenso estranho, nem holocausto, nem oferta; nem tampouco derramareis sobre ele libações. 10 E uma vez no ano Arão fará expiação sobre as pontas do altar com o sangue do sacrifício das expiações; uma vez no ano fará expiação sobre ele pelas vossas gerações; santíssimo é ao Senhor.

O resgate da alma

11 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo: 12 Quando tomares a soma dos filhos de Israel, conforme a sua conta, cada um deles dará ao Senhor o resgate da sua alma, quando os contares; para que não haja entre eles praga alguma, quando os contares. 13 Isto dará todo aquele que passar ao arrolamento: a metade de um siclo, segundo o siclo do santuário (este siclo é de vinte geras); a metade de um siclo é a oferta ao Senhor. 14 Qualquer que entrar no arrolamento, de vinte anos para cima, dará a oferta ao Senhor. 15 O rico não aumentará, e o pobre não diminuirá da metade do siclo, quando derem a oferta ao Senhor, para fazer expiação por vossas almas. 16 E tomarás o dinheiro das expiações dos filhos de Israel e o darás ao serviço da tenda da congregação; e será para memória aos filhos de Israel diante do Senhor, para fazer expiação por vossas almas.

A pia de cobre

17 E falou o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo: 18 Farás também uma pia de cobre com a sua base de cobre, para lavar; e a porás entre a tenda da congregação e o altar e deitarás água nela. 19 E Arão e seus filhos nela lavarão as suas mãos e os seus pés. 20 Quando entrarem na tenda da congregação, lavar-se-ão com água, para que não morram, ou quando se chegarem ao altar para ministrar, para acender a oferta queimada ao Senhor. 21 Lavarão, pois, as mãos e os pés, para que não morram; e isto lhes será por estatuto perpétuo, a ele e à sua semente nas suas gerações.

O azeite da santa unção

22 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo: 23 Tu, pois, toma para ti das principais especiarias: da mais pura mirra, quinhentos siclos; e de canela aromática, a metade, a saber, duzentos e cinquenta siclos; e de cálamo aromático, duzentos e cinquenta siclos; 24 e de cássia, quinhentos siclos, segundo o siclo do santuário; e de azeite de oliveiras, um him. 25 E disto farás o azeite da santa unção, o perfume composto segundo a obra do perfumista; este será o azeite da santa unção. 26 E com ele ungirás a tenda da congregação, e a arca do Testemunho, 27 e a mesa com todos os seus utensílios, e o castiçal com os seus utensílios, e o altar do incenso, 28 e o altar do holocausto com todos os seus utensílios, e a pia com a sua base. 29 Assim, santificarás estas coisas, para que sejam santíssimas; tudo o que tocar nelas será santo. 30 Também ungirás a Arão e a seus filhos e os santificarás para me administrarem o sacerdócio. 31 E falarás aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Este me será o azeite da santa unção nas vossas gerações. 32 Não se ungirá com ele a carne do homem, nem fareis outro semelhante conforme a sua composição; santo é e será santo para vós. 33 O homem que compuser tal perfume como este, ou que dele puser sobre um estranho, será extirpado dos seus povos.

O incenso santo

34 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés: Toma especiarias aromáticas, estoraque, e ônica, e gálbano; estas especiarias aromáticas e incenso puro de igual peso; 35 e disto farás incenso, um perfume segundo a arte do perfumista, temperado, puro e santo; 36 e dele, moendo, o pisarás, e dele porás diante do Testemunho, na tenda da congregação, onde eu virei a ti; coisa santíssima vos será. 37 Porém o incenso que farás conforme a composição deste, não o fareis para vós mesmos; santo será para o Senhor. 38 O homem que fizer tal como este para cheirar será extirpado do seu povo.

30 “Then make a small altar for burning incense. It shall be made from acacia wood. 2 It is to be eighteen inches square and three feet high, with horns carved from the wood of the altar—they are not to be merely separate parts that are attached. 3 Overlay the top, sides, and horns of the altar with pure gold, and run a gold molding around the entire altar. 4 Beneath the molding, on each of two sides, construct two gold rings to hold the carrying poles. 5 The poles are to be made of acacia wood overlaid with gold. 6 Place the altar just outside the veil, near the place of mercy that is above the Ark containing the Ten Commandments. I will meet with you there.

7 “Every morning when Aaron trims the lamps, he shall burn sweet spices on the altar, 8 and each evening when he lights the lamps he shall burn the incense before the Lord, and this shall go on from generation to generation. 9 Offer no unauthorized incense, burnt offerings, meal offerings, or wine offerings.

10 “Once a year Aaron must sanctify the altar,[a] placing upon its horns the blood of the sin offering for atonement. This shall be a regular, annual event from generation to generation, for this is the Lord’s supremely holy altar.”

11-12 And Jehovah said to Moses, “Whenever you take a census of the people of Israel, each man who is numbered shall give a ransom to the Lord for his soul, so that there will be no plague among the people when you number them. 13 His payment shall be half a dollar.[b] 14 All who have reached their twentieth birthday shall give this offering. 15 The rich shall not give more and the poor shall not give less, for it is an offering to the Lord to make atonement for yourselves. 16 Use this money for the care of the Tabernacle; it is to bring you, the people of Israel, to the Lord’s attention, and to make atonement for you.”

17-18 And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a bronze basin with a bronze pedestal. Put it between the Tabernacle and the altar, and fill it with water. 19 Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet there, 20 when they go into the Tabernacle to appear before the Lord, or when they approach the altar to burn offerings to the Lord. They must always wash before doing so, or they will die. 21 These are instructions to Aaron and his sons from generation to generation.”

22-23 Then the Lord told Moses to collect the choicest of spices—eighteen pounds of pure myrrh; half as much of cinnamon and of sweet cane; 24 the same amount of cassia as of myrrh; and 1-1/2 gallons of olive oil. 25 The Lord instructed skilled perfume makers to compound all this into a holy anointing oil.

26-27 “Use this,” he said, “to anoint the Tabernacle, the Ark, the table and all its instruments, the lampstand and all its utensils, the incense altar, 28 the burnt offering altar with all its instruments, and the washbasin and its pedestal. 29 Sanctify them, to make them holy; whatever touches them shall become holy.[c] 30 Use it to anoint Aaron and his sons, sanctifying them so that they can minister to me as priests. 31 And say to the people of Israel, ‘This shall always be my holy anointing oil. 32 It must never be poured upon an ordinary person, and you shall never make any of it yourselves, for it is holy, and it shall be treated by you as holy. 33 Anyone who compounds any incense like it or puts any of it upon someone who is not a priest shall be excommunicated.’”

34 These were the Lord’s directions to Moses concerning the incense: “Use sweet spices—stacte, onycha, galbanum, and pure frankincense, weighing out the same amounts of each, 35 using the usual techniques of the incense maker, and seasoning it with salt; it shall be a pure and holy incense. 36 Beat some of it very fine and put some of it in front of the Ark where I meet with you in the Tabernacle; this incense is most holy. 37 Never make it for yourselves, for it is reserved for the Lord and you must treat it as holy. 38 Anyone making it for himself shall be excommunicated.”

The Altar of Incense(A)

30 “Make an altar(B) of acacia wood for burning incense.(C) 2 It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high[a]—its horns(D) of one piece with it. 3 Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.(E) 4 Make two gold rings(F) for the altar below the molding—two on each of the opposite sides—to hold the poles used to carry it. 5 Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.(G) 6 Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law—before the atonement cover(H) that is over the tablets of the covenant law—where I will meet with you.

7 “Aaron must burn fragrant incense(I) on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps. 8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.(J) 9 Do not offer on this altar any other incense(K) or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it. 10 Once a year(L) Aaron shall make atonement(M) on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering[b](N) for the generations to come.(O) It is most holy to the Lord.”

Atonement Money

11 Then the Lord said to Moses, 12 “When you take a census(P) of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay the Lord a ransom(Q) for his life at the time he is counted. Then no plague(R) will come on them when you number them. 13 Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel,[c] according to the sanctuary shekel,(S) which weighs twenty gerahs. This half shekel is an offering to the Lord. 14 All who cross over, those twenty years old or more,(T) are to give an offering to the Lord. 15 The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less(U) when you make the offering to the Lord to atone for your lives. 16 Receive the atonement(V) money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the tent of meeting.(W) It will be a memorial(X) for the Israelites before the Lord, making atonement for your lives.”

Basin for Washing

17 Then the Lord said to Moses, 18 “Make a bronze basin,(Y) with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 19 Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet(Z) with water(AA) from it. 20 Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die.(AB) Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the Lord, 21 they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance(AC) for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.”(AD)

Anointing Oil

22 Then the Lord said to Moses, 23 “Take the following fine spices:(AE) 500 shekels[d] of liquid myrrh,(AF) half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon,(AG) 250 shekels[e] of fragrant calamus,(AH) 24 500 shekels(AI) of cassia(AJ)—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin[f] of olive oil. 25 Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer.(AK) It will be the sacred anointing oil.(AL) 26 Then use it to anoint(AM) the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law, 27 the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, 28 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. 29 You shall consecrate them(AN) so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.(AO)

30 “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate(AP) them so they may serve me as priests.(AQ) 31 Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil(AR) for the generations to come.(AS) 32 Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred.(AT) 33 Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off(AU) from their people.’”

Incense

34 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Take fragrant spices(AV)—gum resin, onycha and galbanum—and pure frankincense, all in equal amounts, 35 and make a fragrant blend of incense,(AW) the work of a perfumer.(AX) It is to be salted and pure and sacred. 36 Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet(AY) with you. It shall be most holy(AZ) to you. 37 Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy(BA) to the Lord. 38 Whoever makes incense like it to enjoy its fragrance must be cut off(BB) from their people.”
