13 I samma stund blev det en fruktansvärd jordbävning, som fick en tiondel av staden att störta samman. 7 000 människor dödades i jordbävningen, och de som överlevde darrade av skräck och hyllade himlens Gud.

14 Det andra veropet är över, men det tredje är snart på väg.

Den sjunde ängeln blåser i sin trumpet

15 Den sjunde ängeln blåste i sin trumpet och starka röster hördes från himlen. De sa:

”Kungamakten över världen
    tillhör nu vår Herre och hans Smorde,
och han ska regera i all evighet.”

New International Version

13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake(A) and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory(B) to the God of heaven.(C)

14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.(D)

The Seventh Trumpet

15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet,(E) and there were loud voices(F) in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become
    the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,(G)
    and he will reign for ever and ever.”(H)
