Travay 5
Nouvo Testaman: Vèsyon Kreyòl Fasil
Ananyas ak Safira
5 Te gen yon nonm yo te rele Ananyas ansanm ak madanm li Safira. Ananyas te vann byen pa l tou. 2 Men, li menm ak madanm li deside sere yon pati nan kòb la, epi li pote rès la bay apot yo.
Lè jenn gason yo antre, yo jwenn li gentan mouri.
Yo arete apot yo
17 Lè pi gran sakrifikatè a ansanm ak kolonn patizan l yo, nou vle pale de Sadiseyen yo, wè sa apot yo t ap fè yo, yo vin gen yon sèl jalouzi ki monte yo. 18 Yo fè arete apot yo epi mete yo nan prizon. 19 Yon anj Bondye vini nan mitan lannuit, li louvri pòt prizon an, li kondui apot yo soti deyò epi li di yo: 20 “Retounen al kanpe nan mitan Tanp lan, epi anonse pèp la tout bagay sou jan yo dwe viv kounye a nan nouvo lavi sa a.” 21 Tande apot yo fin tande sa, yo te fè sa yo te tande a. Depi byen bonè nan maten, apot yo te gentan rive nan Tanp lan epi yo t ap anseye pèp la. Pi gran sakrifikatè a ansanm ak patizan l yo te konvoke yon reyinyon pou Gran Konsèy la ansanm ak lidè ki pi ansyen yo. Yo voye chache apot nan prizon an mennen bay yo.
22 Lè gad yo rive nan prizon an, yo pa jwenn Apot yo. Yo tounen nan reyinyon an vin rapòte sa k pase a. 23 Men sa yo di konsèy la: “Tout pòt prizon an te byen fèmen ak kle. Men, lè nou louvri pòt prizon an, li te vid, nou pa jwenn pèsonn anndan l.” 24 Lè kòmandan lagad tanp lan ansanm ak sakrifikatè an chèf la tande pawòl sa yo, yo tonbe nan konfizyon. Yo poze tèt yo kesyon sou sa k pase a.
25 Apre sa, yon moun vin di yo konsa: “Men m wè mesye yo nou te met nan prizon an kanpe nan Tanp lan ap anseye pèp la wi.” 26 Kòmandan lagad la ansanm ak mesye l yo soti al chache apot yo, yo pa t fè vyolans sou yo, paske yo te pè pou pèp la pa t kalonnen yo ak kout wòch.
27 Lè mesye yo vini ak apot yo, yo mete yo kanpe devan Gran Konsèy la epi pi gran sakrifikatè a te pran poze yo kesyon. 28 Pi gran sakrifikatè a di yo: “Èske nou pa t defann nou pale nan non nonm sa a?[a] Epoutan, gade sa nou fè, nou ranpli tout Jerizalèm ak ansèyman nou yo epi nou vle rann nou menm lidè yo responsab lanmò li.”
29 Men, Pyè ansanm ak lòt apot reponn yo di: “Se Bondye nou dwe obeyi, pase pou n obeyi moun. 30 Nou te klouwe Jezi sou yon kwa epi nou touye li. Men Bondye zansèt nou Abraram, Izarak ak Jakòb te konn sèvi a, fè l leve vivan ankò.
Men Tedas mouri epi gwoup la gaye. Mouvman an tou mouri mouri l tou. Nou pa bezwen mete men sou yo. Paske si sa y ap fè a se bagay lèzòm, li p ap rive lwen. L ap kraze poukont li. 39 Men, si sa y ap fè a soti nan Bondye, nou p ap ka kraze li.
40 Konsa, yo fè apot yo retounen antre. Yo fè ba t yo byen bat. Yo fè presyon sou yo pou yo pa kontinye pale nan non Jezi.
Acts 5
English Standard Version
Ananias and Sapphira
5 But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2 and with his wife's knowledge (A)he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and (B)laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has (C)Satan filled your heart to lie (D)to the Holy Spirit and (E)to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but (F)to God.” 5 When Ananias heard these words, he (G)fell down and breathed his last. And (H)great fear came upon all who heard of it. 6 The young men rose and (I)wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him.
7 After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you[a] sold the land for so much.” And she said, “Yes, for so much.” 9 But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together (J)to test (K)the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10 Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 And (L)great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.
Many Signs and Wonders Done
12 Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people (M)by the hands of the apostles. And they were all (N)together in (O)Solomon's Portico. 13 None of the rest dared join them, but (P)the people held them in high esteem. 14 And (Q)more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 (R)so that they even (S)carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by (T)at least his shadow might fall on some of them. 16 The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, (U)bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
The Apostles Arrested and Freed
17 But the high priest rose up, and all who were with him (that is, the party of (V)the Sadducees), and filled with (W)jealousy 18 they arrested the apostles and (X)put them in the public prison. 19 But during the night (Y)an angel of the Lord (Z)opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20 “Go and stand in the temple and speak to the people all (AA)the words of (AB)this (AC)Life.” 21 And when they heard this, (AD)they entered the temple (AE)at daybreak and began to teach.
Now when the high priest came, and those who were with him, they called together the council, all the senate of the people of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. 22 But when the officers came, they did not find them in the prison, so they returned and reported, 23 “We found the prison securely locked and the guards standing at the doors, but when we opened them we found no one inside.” 24 Now when (AF)the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were greatly perplexed about them, wondering what this would come to. 25 And someone came and told them, “Look! The men whom you put in prison (AG)are standing in the temple and teaching the people.” 26 Then (AH)the captain with the officers went and brought them, but not by force, for (AI)they were afraid of being stoned by the people.
27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest questioned them, 28 saying, (AJ)“We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you (AK)intend to bring this man's blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, (AL)“We must obey God rather than men. 30 (AM)The God of our fathers (AN)raised Jesus, (AO)whom you killed by hanging him on (AP)a tree. 31 God exalted (AQ)him at his right hand as (AR)Leader and (AS)Savior, (AT)to give (AU)repentance to Israel and (AV)forgiveness of sins. 32 And (AW)we are witnesses to these things, and (AX)so is the Holy Spirit, (AY)whom God has given to those who obey him.”
33 When they heard this, they (AZ)were enraged and wanted to kill them. 34 But a Pharisee in the council named (BA)Gamaliel, (BB)a teacher of the law held in honor by all the people, stood up and gave orders to put the men outside for a little while. 35 And he said to them, “Men of Israel, take care what you are about to do with these men. 36 For (BC)before these days Theudas rose up, (BD)claiming to be somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing. 37 After him Judas the Galilean rose up in the days of (BE)the census and drew away some of the people after him. He too perished, and all who followed him were scattered. 38 So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone, for (BF)if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; 39 but (BG)if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You (BH)might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice, 40 and (BI)when they had called in the apostles, (BJ)they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 Then they left the presence of the council, (BK)rejoicing that they were counted worthy (BL)to suffer dishonor for (BM)the name. 42 And every day, (BN)in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and (BO)preaching (BP)that the Christ is Jesus.

Gawa 5
Ang Salita ng Dios (Tagalog Contemporary Bible)
Sina Ananias at Safira
At gumaling silang lahat.
Acts 5
New International Version
Ananias and Sapphira
5 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself,(A) but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.(B)
3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan(C) has so filled your heart(D) that you have lied to the Holy Spirit(E) and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?(F) 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal?(G) What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”(H)
5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died.(I) And great fear(J) seized all who heard what had happened. 6 Then some young men came forward, wrapped up his body,(K) and carried him out and buried him.
7 About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”
“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”(L)
9 Peter said to her, “How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord?(M) Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”
10 At that moment she fell down at his feet and died.(N) Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband.(O) 11 Great fear(P) seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.
The Apostles Heal Many
12 The apostles performed many signs and wonders(Q) among the people. And all the believers used to meet together(R) in Solomon’s Colonnade.(S) 13 No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people.(T) 14 Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.(U) 15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.(V) 16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.(W)
The Apostles Persecuted
17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party(X) of the Sadducees,(Y) were filled with jealousy. 18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail.(Z) 19 But during the night an angel(AA) of the Lord opened the doors of the jail(AB) and brought them out.(AC) 20 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”(AD)
21 At daybreak they entered the temple courts, as they had been told, and began to teach the people.
When the high priest and his associates(AE) arrived, they called together the Sanhedrin(AF)—the full assembly of the elders of Israel—and sent to the jail for the apostles. 22 But on arriving at the jail, the officers did not find them there.(AG) So they went back and reported, 23 “We found the jail securely locked, with the guards standing at the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside.” 24 On hearing this report, the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests(AH) were at a loss, wondering what this might lead to.
25 Then someone came and said, “Look! The men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people.” 26 At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people(AI) would stone them.
27 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin(AJ) to be questioned by the high priest. 28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,”(AK) he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”(AL)
29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!(AM) 30 The God of our ancestors(AN) raised Jesus from the dead(AO)—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross.(AP) 31 God exalted him to his own right hand(AQ) as Prince and Savior(AR) that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.(AS) 32 We are witnesses of these things,(AT) and so is the Holy Spirit,(AU) whom God has given to those who obey him.”
33 When they heard this, they were furious(AV) and wanted to put them to death. 34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel,(AW) a teacher of the law,(AX) who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census(AY) and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.(AZ) 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”(BA)
40 His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged.(BB) Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
41 The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing(BC) because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.(BD) 42 Day after day, in the temple courts(BE) and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news(BF) that Jesus is the Messiah.(BG)
