Titus 3:3-7
English Standard Version
3 For (A)we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when (B)the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, (C)not because of works done by us in righteousness, but (D)according to his own mercy, by (E)the washing of regeneration and (F)renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he (G)poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that (H)being justified by his grace we might become (I)heirs (J)according to the hope of eternal life.

Micah 6:6-8
English Standard Version
What Does the Lord Require?
6 (A)“With what shall I come before the Lord,
and bow myself before (B)God on high?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
7 (C)Will the Lord be pleased with[a] thousands of rams,
with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
(D)Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?”
8 He has told you, O man, what is good;
and (E)what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,[b]
and to (F)walk humbly with your God?
