¹³ Do your best to speed Zenas the lawyer and ^(A)Apollos on their way; see that they lack nothing.

Apollos Speaks Boldly in Ephesus

²⁴ Now a Jew named ^(A)Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, ^(B)competent in the Scriptures.

^35 (A)And one of them, ^(B)a lawyer, asked him a question ^(C)to test him.

⁶ who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner ^(A)worthy of God. ⁷ For they have gone out for the sake of ^(B)the name, ^(C)accepting nothing from the Gentiles. ⁸ Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.

¹⁰ They also honored us greatly,^[a] and when we were about to sail, they put on board whatever we needed.

¹¹ So ^(A)let no one despise him. ^(B)Help him on his way ^(C)in peace, that he may return to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers.

²⁴ I hope to see you in passing as I go ^(A)to Spain, and ^(B)to be helped on my journey there by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a while.

⁵ When our days there were ended, we departed and went on our journey, and they all, with wives and children, ^(A)accompanied us until we were outside the city. And ^(B)kneeling down on the beach, we prayed

³ And Jesus responded to ^(A)the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, ^(B)“Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?”

⁵² Woe to you ^(A)lawyers! ^(B)For you have taken away the key of ^(C)knowledge. You ^(D)did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”
