6 Likewise urge (A)the young men to be [a]sensible; 7 in all things show yourself to be (B)an example of good deeds, with [b]purity in doctrine, dignified, 8 sound in speech which is beyond reproach, (C)so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

6 the younger men likewise exhort to be sober-minded: 7 in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, 8 sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.
