11 For the grace of God has (A)appeared, [a](B)bringing salvation to all men, 12 [b]instructing us to deny ungodliness and (C)worldly desires and (D)to live sensibly, righteously and godly (E)in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and the (F)appearing of the glory of [c](G)our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, 14 who (H)gave Himself for us (I)to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to (J)purify for Himself a (K)people for His own possession, (L)zealous for good deeds.

15 These things speak and (M)exhort and (N)reprove with all [d]authority. (O)Let no one disregard you.

Godly Living

(P)Remind them (Q)to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be (R)ready for every good deed, to malign no one, (S)to be peaceable, (T)gentle, (U)showing every consideration for all men. (V)For we also once were foolish ourselves, (W)disobedient, (X)deceived, (Y)enslaved to (Z)various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in (AA)malice and (AB)envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the (AC)kindness of (AD)God our Savior and His love for mankind (AE)appeared, (AF)He saved us, (AG)not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but (AH)according to His mercy, by the (AI)washing of regeneration and (AJ)renewing by the Holy Spirit, (AK)whom He poured out upon us (AL)richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made (AM)heirs [e]according to the hope of eternal life.
