Titus 1:13-2:1
New Living Translation
13 This is true. So reprimand them sternly to make them strong in the faith. 14 They must stop listening to Jewish myths and the commands of people who have turned away from the truth.
15 Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.

2 As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching.

Therefore (A)rebuke them (B)sharply, that they (C)may be sound in the faith, 14 (D)not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and (E)the commands of people (F)who turn away from the truth. 15 (G)To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and (H)unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both (I)their minds and their consciences are defiled. 16 (J)They profess to know God, but they (K)deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, (L)unfit for any good work.
