Titus 1:13-2:1
English Standard Version
13 This testimony is true. Therefore (A)rebuke them (B)sharply, that they (C)may be sound in the faith, 14 (D)not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and (E)the commands of people (F)who turn away from the truth. 15 (G)To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and (H)unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both (I)their minds and their consciences are defiled. 16 (J)They profess to know God, but they (K)deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, (L)unfit for any good work.
Teach Sound Doctrine
2 But as for you, teach what accords with (M)sound[a] doctrine.
Titus 1:13-2:1
Common English Bible
13 This statement is true. Because of this, correct them firmly, so that they can be healthy in their faith. 14 They shouldn’t pay attention to Jewish myths and commands from people who reject the truth. 15 Everything is clean to those who are clean, but nothing is clean to those who are corrupt and without faith. Instead, their mind and conscience are corrupted. 16 They claim to know God, but they deny God by the things that they do. They are detestable, disobedient, and disqualified to do anything good.
Teaching all people how to be godly
