so that, having been justified by his grace,(A) we might become heirs(B) having the hope(C) of eternal life.(D) This is a trustworthy saying.(E) And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.(F) These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

But avoid(G) foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels(H) about the law,(I) because these are unprofitable and useless.(J)
