Titus 3:7-9

7 so that we might be justified by his grace
and become heirs in hope of eternal life.(A)
8 This saying is trustworthy.
Advice to Titus.[a] I want you to insist on these points, that those who have believed in God be careful to devote themselves to good works; these are excellent and beneficial to others.(B) 9 [b]Avoid foolish arguments, genealogies, rivalries, and quarrels about the law,(C) for they are useless and futile.

New International Version
7 so that, having been justified by his grace,(A) we might become heirs(B) having the hope(C) of eternal life.(D) 8 This is a trustworthy saying.(E) And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.(F) These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
9 But avoid(G) foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels(H) about the law,(I) because these are unprofitable and useless.(J)
