Titus 3:3-8
English Standard Version
3 For (A)we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when (B)the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, (C)not because of works done by us in righteousness, but (D)according to his own mercy, by (E)the washing of regeneration and (F)renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he (G)poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that (H)being justified by his grace we might become (I)heirs (J)according to the hope of eternal life. 8 The saying is (K)trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful (L)to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

3 (A)For we too were once foolish, (B)disobedient, (C)deceived, (D)enslaved to (E)various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in (F)malice and (G)envy, hateful, hating one another. 4 But when the (H)kindness of (I)God our Savior and His love for mankind (J)appeared, 5 (K)He saved us, (L)not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but (M)in accordance with His mercy, by the (N)washing of regeneration and (O)renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 (P)whom He (Q)richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made (R)heirs [a]according to the hope of eternal life. 8 (S)This statement is trustworthy; and concerning these things I (T)want you to speak confidently, so that those who have (U)believed God will be careful to (V)engage in good deeds. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness(B) and love of God our Savior(C) appeared,(D) 5 he saved us,(E) not because of righteous things we had done,(F) but because of his mercy.(G) He saved us through the washing(H) of rebirth and renewal(I) by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us(J) generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace,(K) we might become heirs(L) having the hope(M) of eternal life.(N) 8 This is a trustworthy saying.(O) And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.(P) These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
