3 and which now at his appointed season(A) he has brought to light(B) through the preaching entrusted to me(C) by the command of God(D) our Savior,(E)
4 To Titus,(F) my true son(G) in our common faith:
Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.(H)

5 The reason I left you in Crete(J) was that you might put in order what was left unfinished and appoint[a] elders(K) in every town, as I directed you.
