2 Unto the [a]hope of eternal life, which God that cannot lie, hath [b]promised before the (A)[c]world began:
3 [d]But hath made his word manifest in due time through the preaching, which is (B)committed unto me according to the commandment of God our [e]Savior:
4 [f]To Titus my natural son according to the common faith, [g]Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

4 To Titus,(I) my true son(J) in our common faith:
Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.(K)
