²in the hope of eternal life,^(A) which God, who does not lie,^(B) promised before the beginning of time,^(C)

Titus 1:2

King James Version

²In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

⁷so that, having been justified by his grace,^(A) we might become heirs^(B) having the hope^(C) of eternal life.^(D)

⁷That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
