14 not paying attention to Jewish myths or to commandments of those who reject the truth.(A) 15 To the pure all things are pure, but to the corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are corrupted.(B) 16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their actions; they are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.(C)

14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths(A) or to the merely human commands(B) of those who reject the truth.(C) 15 To the pure, all things are pure,(D) but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure.(E) In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.(F) 16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him.(G) They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.(H)
