14 They shouldn’t pay attention to Jewish myths or commands given by people who are always rejecting the truth. 15 Everything is clean[a] to those who are clean. But nothing is clean to corrupt unbelievers. Indeed, their minds and their consciences are corrupted. 16 They claim to know God, but they deny him by what they do. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit to do anything good.

New International Version
14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths(A) or to the merely human commands(B) of those who reject the truth.(C) 15 To the pure, all things are pure,(D) but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure.(E) In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.(F) 16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him.(G) They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.(H)
