New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
13 That testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply, so that they may become sound in the faith,(A) 14 not paying attention to Jewish myths or to commandments of those who reject the truth.(B) 15 To the pure all things are pure, but to the corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are corrupted.(C) 16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their actions; they are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.(D)
Teach Sound Doctrine
2 But as for you, teach what is consistent with sound instruction.
Titus 1:13-2:1
New English Translation
13 Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith 14 and not pay attention to Jewish myths[a] and commands of people who reject the truth. 15 All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 They profess to know God but with their deeds they deny him, since they are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.
Conduct Consistent with Sound Teaching
2 But as for you, communicate the behavior that goes with[b] sound teaching.
