The Message
5-8 If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.

5 E se alguém tem falta da sabedoria necessária, peça-a a Deus, que está sempre pronto a dar generosamente, sem a menor censura, e lhe será dada. 6 Mas que esse pedido seja feito com fé, na certeza da resposta. Porque quem se dirige a Deus duvidando é semelhante às ondas do mar levadas pelos ventos, lançadas de um lado para o outro. 7-8 Uma pessoa assim é indecisa e instável, e inconstante em todos os seus atos. Não pense, por isso, que receberá alguma coisa do Senhor.
