Thượng Đế gìn giữ người tin cậy Ngài
Bài ca khi đang đi lên đền thờ.
125 Những ai tin cậy Chúa giống như núi Xi-ôn vững chãi,
2 Các rặng núi bao bọc Giê-ru-sa-lem ra sao,
Chúa cũng bao bọc dân Ngài như vậy,
từ nay cho đến mãi mãi.
3 Kẻ ác không thể cai trị người thanh liêm.
Nếu không người thanh liêm có thể dùng quyền lực đó
để làm ác.
4 Lạy Chúa, xin hãy đối nhân từ cùng kẻ nhân từ,
tức những người có lòng ngay thẳng.
5 Nhưng khi Ngài diệt kẻ ác,
thì Ngài cũng sẽ diệt luôn những kẻ từ bỏ Ngài.
Nguyện sự hoà bình ngự trên Ít-ra-en.

The Lord the Strength of His People
A Song of Ascents.
125 Those who trust in the Lord
Are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.
3 For (A)the scepter of wickedness shall not rest
On the land allotted to the righteous,
Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good,
And to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside to their (B)crooked ways,
The Lord shall lead them away
With the workers of iniquity.
(C)Peace be upon Israel!

1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,(A)
which cannot be shaken(B) but endures forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,(C)
so the Lord surrounds(D) his people
both now and forevermore.
3 The scepter(E) of the wicked will not remain(F)
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.(G)
4 Lord, do good(H) to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.(I)
5 But those who turn(J) to crooked ways(K)
the Lord will banish(L) with the evildoers.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
