20 (For the one directing. Mizmor Dovid) Hashem hear thee in the Yom Tzarah (day of trouble); the Shem Elohei Ya’akov set thee up on high [i.e., out of reach of your enemies];
2 Send thee help from the Kodesh (Holy Sanctuary), and strengthen thee out of Tziyon;
3 Remember all thy minchot, and accept thy olat; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own levav, and fulfil kol etzah (plan, counsel) of thine.
5 We will shout for joy at thy Yeshuah (salvation), and in the Shem of Eloheinu we will lift up our banners; Hashem grant all thy requests.
6 Now I have da’as that Hashem hoshi’a (He saves) His Moshiach; He will answer him from His Sh’mei Kodesh (Holy Heaven) with the saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some susim: but we will trust in the Shem Hashem Eloheinu.
8 They are brought down and fallen, but we are risen up, and stand firm.
9 Hoshi’ah, Hashem, HaMelech! May He hear us on the day when we call.

20 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

Xin danh Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp bảo vệ ngươi.
2 Từ Nơi Thánh, xin sai ơn giúp đỡ ngươi,
Từ Si-ôn, xin ban cho ngươi sự hỗ trợ.
3 Xin Chúa ghi nhớ tất cả những lễ vật ngươi dâng,
Và tiếp nhận những tế lễ toàn thiêu ngươi hiến.
4 Xin Chúa ban cho ngươi điều lòng ngươi mơ ước,
Và hoàn thành mọi kế hoạch của ngươi.
5 Chúng tôi reo mừng trong cuộc chiến thắng của người.[a]
Và nhân danh Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta giương cao ngọn cờ.
Cầu xin CHÚA hoàn thành mọi điều người thỉnh nguyện.
6 Bây giờ tôi biết CHÚA giúp đỡ[b] Đấng được xức dầu của Ngài.
Từ trên trời thánh Ngài đáp lời người,
Ngài giải cứu người bằng những việc quyền năng của tay phải Ngài.
7 Kẻ này nhờ cậy xe cộ, kẻ khác nhờ cậy ngựa chiến.
Nhưng chúng tôi nhờ cậy danh CHÚA, Đức Chúa Trời chúng tôi.
8 Chúng nó bị ngã quỵ và té nhào,
Nhưng chúng tôi vươn lên và đứng vững.
9 Lạy CHÚA, xin hãy giải cứu Đức Vua.
Xin hãy đáp lời khi chúng tôi cầu khẩn.

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;(A)
may the name of the God of Jacob(B) protect you.(C)
2 May he send you help(D) from the sanctuary(E)
and grant you support(F) from Zion.(G)
3 May he remember(H) all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b](I)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart(J)
and make all your plans succeed.(K)
5 May we shout for joy(L) over your victory
and lift up our banners(M) in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.(N)
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(O)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(P)
7 Some trust in chariots(Q) and some in horses,(R)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(S)
