Ang Salita ng Dios (Tagalog Contemporary Bible)

2 Kung paanong ang mga bundok ay nakapaligid sa lungsod ng Jerusalem,
    ang Panginoon ay nasa paligid din ng kanyang mga mamamayan magpakailanman.
3 Ang masama ay hindi mananatiling namamahala sa lupaing para sa mga matuwid,
    dahil baka makagawa rin ng masama ang mga matuwid.
4 Panginoon, gawan nʼyo ng mabuti ang mga taong mabuti na namumuhay nang matuwid.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,(A)
    so the Lord surrounds(B) his people
    both now and forevermore.

3 The scepter(C) of the wicked will not remain(D)
    over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
    their hands to do evil.(E)

4 Lord, do good(F) to those who are good,
    to those who are upright in heart.(G)

3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
