Gurigii Iyo Reerkii Daa'uud
14 Markaasaa Xiiraam oo ahaa boqorkii Turos ayaa Daa'uud wargeeyayaal u soo diray, iyo geedo kedar la yidhaahdo, iyo wastaadyo, iyo nijaarro, inay guri u dhisaan. 2 Oo Daa'uud wuxuu ogaaday in Rabbigu isaga u taagay inuu ahaado boqor u taliya reer binu Israa'iil, waayo, boqortooyadiisii waa la sarraysiiyey dadkiisa reer binu Israa'iil aawadood.
3 Oo Daa'uudna naago kale buu Yeruusaalem ku guursaday, oo wuxuu dhalay wiilal iyo gabdho kale. 4 Oo carruurtii Yeruusaalem ugu dhalatay magacyadoodiina waa kuwan: Shammuuca, iyo Shoobaab, iyo Naataan, iyo Sulaymaan, 5 iyo Yibxaar, iyo Eliishuuca, iyo Elfaaled, 6 iyo Nogah, iyo Nefeg, iyo Yaafiica, 7 iyo Eliishaamaac, iyo Becelyaadaac, iyo Eliifeled.
Daa'uud Oo Ka Adkaaday Reer Falastiin
8 Oo reer Falastiinna markay maqleen in Daa'uud loo subkay inuu boqor u ahaado reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan ayay reer Falastiin oo dhammu u soo baxeen inay Daa'uud doondoonaan, oo Daa'uudna taas wuu maqlay, oo isna iyagii ayuu ku baxay. 9 Haddaba reer Falastiin way yimaadeen, oo waxay ku firdheen dooxadii Refaa'iim. 10 Markaasaa Daa'uud Rabbiga wax weyddiiyey oo yidhi, Miyaan reer Falastiin ku kacaa? Miyaad ii soo gacangelinaysaa? Markaasaa Rabbigu wuxuu ku yidhi, Haah, ku kac, waayo, iyaga waan kuu soo gacangelinayaa. 11 Hadda waxay yimaadeen Bacal Feraasiim, oo halkaasaa Daa'uud iyagii ku laayay, oo Daa'uud wuxuu yidhi, Rabbigu cadaawayaashaydii ayuu gacantayda degdeg ugu qabtay, sida biyaha butaacayaa u degdegaan oo kale. Sidaas daraaddeed meeshaas magaceedii waxaa loo bixiyey Bacal Feraasiim. 12 Iyana halkaasay ilaahyadoodii kaga tageen, markaasaa Daa'uud amar ku bixiyey in la gubo. 13 Haddana reer Falastiin mar kalay dooxadii ku soo firdheen. 14 Oo Daa'uudna mar kaluu Rabbiga wax weyddiiyey, oo Ilaahna wuxuu ku yidhi, Waa inaanad ka daba kicin, laakiinse iyaga ka leexo, oo waxaad ku weerartaa meel ka soo hor jeedda geedaha bukaa la yidhaahdo. 15 Oo markaad sanqadha askarta socodkeeda ka maqashid geedaha bukaa dushooda, markaas dagaalka hore ugu bax, waayo, Ilaah waa kaaga hor baxay inuu ciidanka reer Falastiin laayo. 16 Oo Daa'uudna wuxuu yeelay sidii Ilaah ku amray, oo waxay ciidankii reer Falastiin ku laynayeen ilaa Gibecoon iyo tan iyo Geser. 17 Oo Daa'uud warkiisiina wuxuu gaadhay dalalka oo dhan, oo Rabbiguna cabsi isaga ka timid ayuu ku riday quruumihii kale oo dhan.

David’s House and Family(A)
14 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, along with cedar logs,(B) stonemasons and carpenters to build a palace for him. 2 And David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel and that his kingdom had been highly exalted(C) for the sake of his people Israel.
3 In Jerusalem David took more wives and became the father of more sons(D) and daughters. 4 These are the names of the children born to him there:(E) Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, 5 Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet, 6 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 7 Elishama, Beeliada[a] and Eliphelet.
David Defeats the Philistines(F)
8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel,(G) they went up in full force to search for him, but David heard about it and went out to meet them. 9 Now the Philistines had come and raided the Valley(H) of Rephaim; 10 so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?”
The Lord answered him, “Go, I will deliver them into your hands.”
11 So David and his men went up to Baal Perazim,(I) and there he defeated them. He said, “As waters break out, God has broken out against my enemies by my hand.” So that place was called Baal Perazim.[b] 12 The Philistines had abandoned their gods there, and David gave orders to burn(J) them in the fire.(K)
13 Once more the Philistines raided the valley;(L) 14 so David inquired of God again, and God answered him, “Do not go directly after them, but circle around them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. 15 As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.” 16 So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon(M) to Gezer.(N)
17 So David’s fame(O) spread throughout every land, and the Lord made all the nations fear(P) him.
