Song of Solomon 4:9-5:1
English Standard Version
9 You have captivated my heart, my (A)sister, my bride;
you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes,
with one (B)jewel of your necklace.
10 How beautiful is your love, my (C)sister, my bride!
How much (D)better is your love than wine,
and (E)the fragrance of your oils than any spice!
11 Your (F)lips drip nectar, my bride;
(G)honey and milk are under your tongue;
the fragrance of your garments is (H)like the fragrance of (I)Lebanon.
12 A garden locked is my (J)sister, my bride,
a spring locked, (K)a fountain (L)sealed.
13 Your shoots are (M)an orchard of pomegranates
with all (N)choicest fruits,
(O)henna with (P)nard,
14 nard and saffron, (Q)calamus and (R)cinnamon,
with all trees of (S)frankincense,
(T)myrrh and (U)aloes,
with all (V)choice spices—
15 a garden fountain, a well of (W)living water,
and flowing streams from (X)Lebanon.
16 Awake, O north wind,
and come, O south wind!
Blow upon my (Y)garden,
let its spices flow.
Together in the Garden of Love

He
5 I (AC)came to my garden, my (AD)sister, my bride,
I gathered my (AE)myrrh with my spice,
I ate my (AF)honeycomb with my honey,
I (AG)drank my wine with my milk.
Others
Eat, (AH)friends, drink,
and be drunk with love!

Lust
27 (A)“You have heard that it was said, (B)‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that (C)everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 (D)If your right eye (E)causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into (F)hell. 30 (G)And if your right hand (H)causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into (I)hell.

Flee Sexual Immorality
12 (A)“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. 13 (B)“Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one (C)and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but (D)for the Lord, and (E)the Lord for the body. 14 And (F)God raised the Lord and (G)will also raise us up (H)by his power. 15 Do you not know that (I)your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined[a] to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, (J)“The two will become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord (K)becomes one spirit with him. 18 (L)Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin[b] a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person (M)sins against his own body. 19 Or (N)do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? (O)You are not your own, 20 (P)for you were bought with a price. (Q)So glorify God in your body.
