12 A garden locked is my sister, my bride,
A [a]rock garden locked, a (A)spring (B)sealed up.
13 Your shoots are [b]an (C)orchard of (D)pomegranates
With (E)choice fruits, (F)henna with nard plants,
14 (G)Nard and saffron, calamus and (H)cinnamon,
With all the trees of (I)frankincense,
(J)Myrrh and aloes, along with all the finest [c]spices.
15 You are a garden spring,
A well of [d](K)fresh water,
And streams flowing from Lebanon.”
16 “[e]Awake, O north wind,
And come, wind of the south;
Make my (L)garden breathe out fragrance,
Let its [f]spices flow forth.
May (M)my beloved come into his garden
And eat its (N)choice fruits!”

with all (E)choicest fruits,
(F)henna with (G)nard,
14 nard and saffron, (H)calamus and (I)cinnamon,
with all trees of (J)frankincense,
(K)myrrh and (L)aloes,
with all (M)choice spices—
15 a garden fountain, a well of (N)living water,
and flowing streams from (O)Lebanon.
16 Awake, O north wind,
and come, O south wind!
Blow upon my (P)garden,
let its spices flow.
