Song of Songs 1:7-8

⁷Tell me, you whom I love:^(A)
Where do you pasture your sheep?^(B)
Where do you let them rest at noon?^(C)
Why should I be like one who veils herself^[a]
beside the flocks of your companions?^(D)

Man

⁸^[b]If you do not know,
most beautiful of women,^(E)
follow^[c] the tracks of the flock,
and pasture your young goats
near the shepherds’ tents.
