Song of Solomon 6:4-10
New American Standard Bible 1995
4 “[a](A)You are as beautiful as (B)Tirzah, my darling,
As (C)lovely as (D)Jerusalem,
As (E)awesome as [b]an army with banners.
5 “Turn your eyes away from me,
For they have confused me;
(F)Your hair is like a flock of goats
That have descended from Gilead.
6 “(G)Your teeth are like a flock of ewes
Which have come up from their washing,
All of which bear twins,
And not one among them has [c]lost her young.
7 “(H)Your temples are like a slice of a pomegranate
Behind your veil.
8 “There are sixty (I)queens and eighty concubines,
And [d](J)maidens without number;
9 But (K)my dove, my perfect one, is [e]unique:
She is her mother’s [f]only daughter;
She is the pure child of the one who bore her.
The [g](L)maidens saw her and called her blessed,
The (M)queens and the concubines also, and they praised her, saying,
10 ‘Who is this that [h]grows like the dawn,
As beautiful as the full (N)moon,
As pure (O)as the sun,
As (P)awesome as [i]an army with banners?’
