¹³ Then Leah said, “How happy I am! The women will call me^(A) happy.”^(B) So she named him Asher.^[a](C)

The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb

⁹ One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues^(A) came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride,^(B) the wife of the Lamb.” ¹⁰ And he carried me away^(C) in the Spirit^(D) to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.^(E)

²⁶ But the Jerusalem that is above^(A) is free, and she is our mother.

⁶ Observe^(A) them carefully, for this will show your wisdom^(B) and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”^{(C) 7} What other nation is so great^(D) as to have their gods near^(E) them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?
