¹² He who overcomes, I will make him ^(A)a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall ^(B)go out no more. ^(C)I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the ^(D)New Jerusalem, which ^(E)comes down out of heaven from My God. ^(F)And I will write on him My new name.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, ^(A)the faithful ^(B)witness, the ^(C)firstborn from the dead, and ^(D)the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him ^(E)who ^[a]loved us ^(F)and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

¹⁵ but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ^[a]ground of the truth. ¹⁶ And without controversy great is the ^[b]mystery of godliness:

^18 (A)may be able to comprehend with all the saints ^(B)what is the width and length and depth and height— ¹⁹ to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled ^(C)with all the fullness of God.

⁸ But ^(A)God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
