¹⁹ So we have the prophetic message more fully confirmed. You will do well to be attentive to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.^(A)

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All

10 Since the law has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the true form of these realities, it^[a] can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered year after year, make perfect those who approach.^(A)

⁵ They offer worship in a sanctuary that is^[a] a sketch and shadow of the heavenly one, just as Moses was warned when he was about to erect the tent.^[b] For, God^[c] said, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.”^(A)

¹² the night is far gone; the day is near. Let us then throw off^[a] the works of darkness and put on the armor of light;^(A)
