¹⁷ The Spirit^(A) and the bride^(B) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.^(C)

⁹ Then the angel said to me,^(F) “Write this:^(G) Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!”^(H) And he added, “These are the true words of God.”^(I)

² I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband,^(A) to Christ, so that I might present you^(B) as a pure virgin to him.

¹⁷ Therefore,

¹⁸ And,

¹⁹ “Come, follow me,”^(A) Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” ²⁰ At once they left their nets and followed him.^(B)

²¹ Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John.^(C) They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, ²² and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.^(D)

³ The Lord appeared to us in the past,^[a] saying:
