Alabanza a la justicia de Dios
Salmo.
98 ¡Cantemos al Señor un cántico nuevo
por las proezas que ha realizado!
¡Con su diestra, con su santo brazo,
ha alcanzado la victoria!
2 El Señor ha dado a conocer su salvación;
¡ha revelado su justicia ante todas las naciones!
3 Se ha acordado de su misericordia y su verdad
en favor del pueblo de Israel;
¡Todos los confines de la tierra son testigos
de que nuestro Dios nos ha salvado!
4 ¡Canten alegres al Señor,
habitantes de toda la tierra!
¡Levanten la voz, aplaudan y canten salmos!
5 ¡Canten salmos al Señor al son del arpa!
¡Al son del arpa eleven sus cantos!
6 ¡Vengan a la presencia del Señor, nuestro Rey,
y aclámenlo al son de trompetas y bocinas!
7 ¡Que brame el mar y su plenitud,
y el mundo y todos sus habitantes!
8 ¡Que aclamen al Señor los ríos,
y que todos los montes se regocijen!
9 El Señor viene a juzgar la tierra,
y juzgará al mundo con justicia,
y a los pueblos con rectitud.

¡El Señor ha alcanzado la victoria!
(1a) Salmo.
98 (1b) ¡Canten al Señor una canción nueva,
pues ha hecho maravillas!
¡Ha alcanzado la victoria
con su gran poder, con su santo brazo!
2 El Señor ha anunciado su victoria,
ha mostrado su justicia
a la vista de las naciones;
3 ha tenido presentes su amor y su lealtad
hacia el pueblo de Israel.
¡Hasta el último rincón del mundo ha sido vista
la victoria de nuestro Dios!
4 Canten a Dios con alegría,
habitantes de toda la tierra;
den rienda suelta a su alegría
y cántenle himnos.
5 Canten himnos al Señor al son del arpa,
al son de los instrumentos de cuerda.
6 Canten con alegría ante el Señor, el Rey,
al son de los instrumentos de viento.
7 Que brame el mar y todo lo que contiene,
el mundo y sus habitantes;
8 que aplaudan los ríos;
que se unan las montañas en gritos de alegría
9 delante del Señor,
que viene a gobernar la tierra.
Él gobernará a los pueblos del mundo
con rectitud e igualdad.

(1) Sing a new song to Adonai,
because he has done wonders.
His right hand, his holy arm
have won him victory.
2 Adonai has made known his victory;
revealed his vindication in full view of the nations,
3 remembered his grace and faithfulness
to the house of Isra’el.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the victory of our God.
4 Shout for joy to Adonai, all the earth!
Break forth, sing for joy, sing praises!
5 Sing praises to Adonai with the lyre,
with the lyre and melodious music!
6 With trumpets and the sound of the shofar,
shout for joy before the king, Adonai!
7 Let the sea roar, and everything in it;
the world, and those living in it.
8 Let the floods clap their hands;
let the mountains sing together for joy
9 before Adonai, for he has come to judge the earth;
he will judge the world rightly and the peoples fairly.

King James Version
98 O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
