Psalm 90:5-7
New International Version
5 Yet you sweep people away(A) in the sleep of death—
they are like the new grass of the morning:
6 In the morning it springs up new,
but by evening it is dry and withered.(B)
7 We are consumed by your anger
and terrified by your indignation.
Psalm 90:5-7
English Standard Version
5 You (A)sweep them away as with a flood; they are like (B)a dream,
like (C)grass that is renewed in the morning:
6 in (D)the morning it flourishes and is renewed;
in the evening it (E)fades and (F)withers.
7 For we are brought to an end by your anger;
by your wrath we are dismayed.
Psalm 90:5-7
New King James Version
5 You carry them away like a flood;
(A)They are like a sleep.
In the morning (B)they are like grass which grows up:
6 In the morning it flourishes and grows up;
In the evening it is cut down and withers.
7 For we have been consumed by Your anger,
And by Your wrath we are terrified.
