1 Oh Pastor de Israel, escucha; tú que pastoreas como a ovejas a José, que estás entre querubines, resplandece.
2 Despierta tu valentía delante de Efraín, y de Benjamín, y de Manasés, y ven a salvarnos.
3 Oh Dios, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.
4 SEÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, ¿Hasta cuándo humearás tú contra la oración de tu pueblo?
5 Les diste a comer pan de lágrimas, y les diste a beber lágrimas con medida.
6 Nos pusiste por contienda a nuestros vecinos; y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros entre sí.
7 Oh Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.
8 ¶ Hiciste venir una vid desde Egipto; echaste los gentiles, y la plantaste.
9 Limpiaste sitio delante de ella, e hiciste arraigar sus raíces, y llenó la tierra.
10 Los montes fueron cubiertos de su sombra; y sus ramas como cedros de Dios.
11 Envió sus ramas hasta el mar, y hasta el río sus renuevos.
12 ¿Por qué aportillaste sus vallados, y la vendimian todos los que pasan por el camino?
13 La estropeó el puerco montés, y la pació la bestia del campo.
14 Oh Dios de los ejércitos, vuelve ahora; mira desde el cielo, y ve, y visita esta vid,
15 y la viña que tu diestra plantó, y sobre el renuevo que corroboraste para ti.
16 Quemada a fuego está, y talada; perezcan por la reprensión de tu rostro.
17 Sea tu mano sobre el varón de tu diestra, sobre el hijo del hombre que corroboraste para ti.
18 Así no nos volveremos de ti; nos darás vida, e invocaremos tu Nombre.

80 1-2 Dios y Pastor nuestro,
tú guiaste como a un rebaño
a tu pueblo Israel,
tú reinas entre los querubines,
¡ahora escúchanos!
¡Hazte presente y muestra tu poder
a las tribus de Efraín,
de Manasés y de Benjamín!
¡Ven a salvarnos!
3 Dios nuestro,
¡cambia nuestra triste situación!
¡Muéstranos tu bondad y sálvanos!
4 Dios nuestro, Señor del universo,
¿hasta cuándo, por tu enojo,
no atenderás la oración de tu pueblo?
5 En vez de comida,
nos has dado el pan amargo
que nuestras lágrimas amasaron;
en vez de bebida,
has hecho que nos bebamos
nuestras propias lágrimas.
6 Has hecho que nuestros vecinos
se burlen de nosotros;
¡nos ven, y se ríen de nosotros!
7 Dios del universo,
¡cambia nuestra triste situación!
¡Muéstranos tu bondad y sálvanos!
8 Nosotros somos como una vid
que trajiste de Egipto,
y para plantarnos en esta tierra
echaste fuera a las naciones;
9 una vez limpio el terreno,
nosotros echamos raíces
y nos extendimos por todo el país.
10 De tal manera crecimos
que llegamos a poblar las montañas;
¡extendimos nuestro dominio
hasta las montañas del Líbano!
11 Nuestra frontera oriental
llegó hasta el río Éufrates;
nuestra frontera occidental
llegó hasta el mar Mediterráneo.
12-14 Dios del universo,
¿por qué dejaste a tu vid
sin tu protección?
Todos nuestros enemigos
pasan y nos hacen daño;
¡nos devoran como fieras!
¡Deja ya de castigarnos!
¡Asómate desde el cielo
y muéstranos tu cariño!
15 ¡Tú mismo nos plantaste!
¡Tú mismo nos cuidaste!
16 El enemigo nos ha derrotado;
le ha prendido fuego a nuestras ciudades.
¡Repréndelos, destrúyelos!
17 Pero no dejes de apoyar
al pueblo en quien confías,
al pueblo que has fortalecido;
18 así, no nos apartaremos de ti.
¡Danos vida, y te alabaremos!

For the director of music. To the tune of “The Lilies of the Covenant.” Of Asaph. A psalm.
1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead Joseph like a flock.(A)
You who sit enthroned between the cherubim,(B)
shine forth 2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh.(C)
Awaken(D) your might;
come and save us.(E)
4 How long,(I) Lord God Almighty,
will your anger smolder(J)
against the prayers of your people?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears;(K)
you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.(L)
6 You have made us an object of derision[b] to our neighbors,
and our enemies mock us.(M)
7 Restore us, God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.(N)
8 You transplanted a vine(O) from Egypt;
you drove out(P) the nations and planted(Q) it.
9 You cleared the ground for it,
and it took root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 Its branches reached as far as the Sea,[c]
its shoots as far as the River.[d](R)
12 Why have you broken down its walls(S)
so that all who pass by pick its grapes?
13 Boars from the forest ravage(T) it,
and insects from the fields feed on it.
14 Return to us, God Almighty!
Look down from heaven and see!(U)
Watch over this vine,
15 the root your right hand has planted,
the son[e] you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;(V)
at your rebuke(W) your people perish.
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man(X) you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you;
revive(Y) us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.

80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead (C)Joseph like (D)a flock.
You who are (E)enthroned upon the cherubim, (F)shine forth.
2 Before (G)Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh,
(H)stir up your might
and (I)come to save us!
4 O (L)Lord God of hosts,
(M)how long will you be angry with your people's prayers?
5 You have fed them with (N)the bread of tears
and given them tears to drink in full measure.
6 (O)You make us an object of contention for our (P)neighbors,
and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 (Q)Restore us, O God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved!
8 You brought (R)a vine out of Egypt;
you (S)drove out the nations and planted it.
9 You (T)cleared the ground for it;
it took deep root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 It sent out its branches to (U)the sea
and its shoots to (V)the River.[b]
12 Why then have you (W)broken down its walls,
so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit?
13 (X)The boar from the forest ravages it,
and all that move in the field feed on it.
14 Turn again, O God of hosts!
(Y)Look down from heaven, and see;
have regard for this vine,
15 the stock that your right hand planted,
and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.
16 They have (Z)burned it with fire; they have (AA)cut it down;
may they perish at (AB)the rebuke of your face!
17 But (AC)let your hand be on the man of your right hand,
the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself!
18 Then we shall not turn back from you;
(AD)give us life, and we will call upon your name!
19 (AE)Restore us, O Lord God of hosts!
Let your face shine, that we may be saved!
