SALMO 79 (78)
Himno de Asaf.
79 Dios nuestro,
naciones enemigas nos han invadido,
han entrado en tu santo templo
y han dejado en ruinas a Jerusalén.
2 Mataron a tus fieles servidores,
y echaron sus cadáveres al campo
para que los devoren
los buitres y las bestias salvajes.
3 Por toda Jerusalén
derramaron la sangre de los muertos,
y a los muertos nadie los entierra.
4 Los pueblos vecinos
se burlan de nosotros;
¡somos el blanco de sus burlas!
5 Dios nuestro,
¿cuánto más tendremos que esperar?
¿Vas a estar siempre enojado
y ardiendo de enojo, como el fuego?
6 ¡Enójate entonces con las naciones
que no quieren reconocerte!
¡Enójate con los reinos
que no te reconocen como Dios!
7 A Israel lo han destruido;
al país lo han dejado en ruinas.
8 No nos tomes en cuenta
los pecados del pasado;
¡muéstranos tu amor
y ven pronto a nuestro encuentro,
pues grande es nuestra miseria!
9 Dios y salvador nuestro,
¡ayúdanos!
Por lo grandioso que eres,
¡líbranos y perdona nuestros pecados!
10 ¿Por qué tienen que decirnos
las naciones enemigas:
«Dios ya los ha abandonado»?
¿No ves que han matado a tu pueblo
y han derramado su sangre?
¡Cóbrales su muerte!
¡Haz que esas malvadas naciones
sufran la muerte en carne propia,
y a nosotros, déjanos ser testigos!
11 Escucha, por favor,
las quejas de los prisioneros,
y salva con tu gran poder

把你圣民的肉交给地上的走兽，
3 耶路撒冷的周围流出他们的血如水，
无人埋葬。
4 我们成为邻国羞辱的对象，
被四围的人嗤笑讥刺。
5 耶和华啊，你发怒要到几时呢？
要到永远吗？
你的忌恨要如火焚烧吗？
6 求你将你的愤怒倾倒在那不认识你的万邦
和那不求告你名的国度。
7 因为他们吞了雅各，
将他的住处变为废墟。
8 求你不要记得我们先前世代的罪孽；

King James Version
79 O god, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
5 How long, Lord? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.
7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.
8 O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.
11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;
12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.
13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

A Psalm of Asaph.
79 O God, the [a]nations have come into (A)Your inheritance;
Your holy temple they have defiled;
(B)They have laid Jerusalem [b]in heaps.
2 (C)The dead bodies of Your servants
They have given as food for the birds of the heavens,
The flesh of Your saints to the beasts of the earth.
3 Their blood they have shed like water all around Jerusalem,
And there was no one to bury them.
4 We have become a reproach to our (D)neighbors,
A scorn and derision to those who are around us.
5 (E)How long, Lord?
Will You be angry forever?
Will Your (F)jealousy burn like fire?
6 (G)Pour out Your wrath on the [c]nations that (H)do not know You,
And on the kingdoms that (I)do not call on Your name.
7 For they have devoured Jacob,
And laid waste his dwelling place.
8 (J)Oh, do not remember [d]former iniquities against us!
Let Your tender mercies come speedily to meet us,
For we have been brought very low.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation,

And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins,

Let there be known among the nations in our sight
The avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.
