65 Silencio habrá delante de[a] ti, y alabanza en Sión, oh Dios;
y a ti se cumplirá el voto[b](A).
2 ¡Oh tú, que escuchas la oración!
Hasta ti viene todo hombre[c](B).
3 Las[d] iniquidades(C) prevalecen contra mí;
mas nuestras transgresiones tú las perdonas(D).
4 Cuán bienaventurado(E) es el que tú escoges, y acercas a ti(F),
para que more en tus atrios.
Seremos saciados(G) con el bien de tu casa,
tu santo templo.
5 Con grandes prodigios(H) nos respondes en justicia,
oh Dios de nuestra salvación(I),
confianza de todos los términos de la tierra(J), y del más lejano mar[e](K);
6 tú, el que afirma los montes(L) con su poder,
ceñido de potencia(M);
7 el que calma el rugido de los mares,
el estruendo de las olas(N),
y el tumulto de los pueblos(O).
8 Por eso los que moran en los confines de la tierra(P) temen tus obras[f],
tú haces cantar de júbilo a la aurora y al ocaso[g].
9 Tú visitas la tierra y la riegas en abundancia(Q),
en gran manera la enriqueces(R);
el río de Dios(S) rebosa de agua;
tú les preparas su grano(T), porque así preparas la tierra[h].
10 Riegas sus surcos abundantemente,
allanas sus camellones[i],
la ablandas con lluvias(U),
bendices sus renuevos.
11 Tú has coronado el año con tus bienes[j](V),
y tus huellas destilan grosura(W).
12 Destilan los pastos del desierto(X),
y los collados se ciñen de alegría(Y).
13 Las praderas se visten de rebaños(Z),
y los valles se cubren de grano(AA);
dan voces de júbilo, sí, cantan(AB).

SALMO 65 (64)
Himno de David.
65 Dios mío,
que vives en el monte Sión,
tú mereces nuestras alabanzas;
mereces que te cumplamos
las promesas que te hacemos.
2-3 Tú escuchas nuestra oración.
Estamos cansados de pecar,
por eso acudimos a ti.
Nuestros pecados nos dominan,
pero tú nos perdonas.
4 ¡Qué bendición reciben
los que viven cerca de ti,
los que viven en tu mismo templo!
Quedamos satisfechos
con el alimento
que de ti recibimos.
5 Nuestro Dios y salvador,
tú nos respondes
dándonos la victoria.
Gente de pueblos lejanos
pone en ti su confianza.
Así hacen los que viven
más allá del mar.
6 Tú, con tu poder y tu fuerza,
formaste las montañas.
7 Calmaste el rugido de los mares,
calmaste el estruendo de sus olas,
calmaste el alboroto de los pueblos.
8 Los que viven en países lejanos
tiemblan de miedo
al ver tus grandes maravillas;
del oriente al occidente,
haces que la gente grite de alegría.
9-10 Tú tienes cuidado de la tierra:
la empapas con abundante lluvia
y riegas los sembrados
para que den muchos frutos.
Con la lluvia aflojas la tierra
y la preparas para la siembra.
Llenas de agua los grandes arroyos,
y haces brotar nuevas ramas.
Así dejas listo el campo
para que todos tengamos trigo.
11 Llega el año a su fin
y está lleno de bendiciones;
por dondequiera que pasas
dejas gran abundancia.
12 En el desierto, el pasto es fresco;
las colinas se revisten de alegría,
13 las praderas se llenan de ovejas,
y los valles se cubren de trigales.
¡Todo el mundo canta
y lanza gritos de alegría!

65 Unto the end, a canticle of a psalm of the resurrection. Shout with joy to God, all the earth,
2 Sing ye a psalm to his name; give glory to his praise.
3 Say unto God, How terrible are thy works, O Lord! in the multitude of thy strength thy enemies shall lie to thee.
4 Let all the earth adore thee, and sing to thee: let it sing a psalm to thy name.
5 Come and see the works of God; who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.
6 Who turneth the sea into dry land, in the river they shall pass on foot: there shall we rejoice in him.
7 Who by his power ruleth for ever: his eyes behold the nations; let not them that provoke him he exalted in themselves.
8 O bless our God, ye Gentiles: and make the voice of his praise to be heard.
9 Who hath set my soul to live: and hath not suffered my feet to be moved:
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us by fire, as silver is tried.
11 Thou hast brought us into a net, thou hast laid afflictions on our back:
12 Thou hast set men over our heads. We have passed through fire and water, and thou hast brought us out into a refreshment.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14 Which my lips have uttered, And my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer up to thee holocausts full of marrow, with burnt offerings of rams: I will offer to thee bullocks with goats.
16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will tell you what great things he hath done for my soul.
17 I cried to him with my mouth: and I extolled him with my tongue.
18 If I have looked at iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
19 Therefore hath God heard me, and hath attended to the voice of my supplication.
20 Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.

1 Praise awaits[b] you, our God, in Zion;(A)
to you our vows will be fulfilled.(B)
2 You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.(C)
3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,(D)
you forgave[c] our transgressions.(E)
4 Blessed are those you choose(F)
and bring near(G) to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,(H)
of your holy temple.
5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,(I)
God our Savior,(J)
the hope of all the ends of the earth(K)
and of the farthest seas,(L)
6 who formed the mountains(M) by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,(N)
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,(O)
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.(P)
8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.(Q)
9 You care for the land and water it;(R)
you enrich it abundantly.(S)
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,(T)
for so you have ordained it.[d]
10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers(U) and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,(V)
and your carts overflow with abundance.(W)
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;(X)
the hills are clothed with gladness.(Y)
13 The meadows are covered with flocks(Z)
