57 ⁽²⁾Ten compasión de mí, Dios mío, ten compasión de mí,
pues en ti busco protección.
Quiero protegerme debajo de tus alas
hasta que el peligro haya pasado.
²⁽³⁾Voy a clamar al Dios altísimo,
al Dios que en todo me ayuda.
³⁽⁴⁾Él enviará desde el cielo su amor y su verdad,
y me salvará de quienes con rabia me persiguen.

⁴⁽⁵⁾Tendido estoy, por el suelo,
entre leones que se comen a la gente;
sus dientes son como lanzas y flechas,
su lengua es una espada afilada.

⁵ ⁽⁶⁾Dios mío, tú estás por encima del cielo.
¡Tu gloria llena toda la tierra!

⁶⁽⁷⁾Mis enemigos me pusieron una trampa
para doblegar mi ánimo;
hicieron un hoyo a mi paso,
pero ellos mismos cayeron en él.

⁷⁽⁸⁾Mi corazón está dispuesto, Dios mío,
mi corazón está dispuesto a cantarte himnos.
⁸⁽⁹⁾Despierta, alma mía;
despierten, arpa y salterio;
¡despertaré al nuevo día!
⁹⁽¹⁰⁾Te alabaré con himnos, Señor,
en medio de pueblos y naciones.
¹⁰⁽¹¹⁾Pues tu amor es grande hasta los cielos;
tu lealtad alcanza al cielo azul.

57 　神啊，求你憐憫我，憐憫我，
    因為我的心投靠你。
我要投靠在你翅膀蔭下，
    直等到災害過去。
²我要求告至高的　神，
    就是為我成全萬事的　神。
³那踐踏我的人辱罵我的時候，
    　神必從天上施恩救我，（細拉）
    他必向我施行慈愛和信實。

⁴至於我的性命，
我好像躺臥在吞噬人的獅子當中；
他們的牙齒是槍、箭，
他們的舌頭是快刀。

⁵　神啊，願你崇高過於諸天！
願你的榮耀高過全地！

⁶他們為我的腳設下網羅，壓迫我；
他們在我面前掘了坑，自己反掉在其中。（細拉）

⁷　神啊，我心堅定，我心堅定；
    我要唱詩，我要歌頌！
⁸我的靈^[a]啊，你當醒起！
    琴瑟啊，當醒起！
    我自己要極早醒起！
⁹主啊，我要在萬民中稱謝你，
    在萬族中歌頌你！
¹⁰因為你的慈愛高及諸天，
    你的信實達到穹蒼。
¹¹　神啊，願你崇高過於諸天！
    願你的榮耀高過全地！

¹Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me,
for in you I take refuge.^(C)
I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings^(D)
until the disaster has passed.^(E)

²I cry out to God Most High,
    to God, who vindicates me.^(F)
³He sends from heaven and saves me,^(G)
    rebuking those who hotly pursue me—^[c]^(H)
    God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.^(I)

⁴I am in the midst of lions;^(J)
I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts—
men whose teeth are spears and arrows,
whose tongues are sharp swords.^(K)

⁵Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.^(L)

⁶They spread a net for my feet^(M)—
I was bowed down^(N) in distress.
They dug a pit^(O) in my path—
but they have fallen into it themselves.^(P)

⁷My heart, O God, is steadfast,
    my heart is steadfast;^(Q)
    I will sing and make music.
⁸Awake, my soul!
    Awake, harp and lyre!^(R)
    I will awaken the dawn.

⁹I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
¹⁰For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies.^(S)

¹¹Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;^(T)
