Es Dios quien me ayuda
54 Al maestro del coro. Con instrumentos de cuerda. Poema para David. 2 Cuando vinieron los de Zif y dijeron a Saúl: “¿No está escondido David entre nosotros?”.
3 ¡Oh Dios, por el honor de tu nombre sálvame,
con tu poder defiende mi causa!
4 ¡Escucha, oh Dios, mi oración,
estate atento a mis palabras!
5 Se alzan contra mí extranjeros,
gente cruel desea mi muerte
sin tener presente a Dios. [ Pausa]
6 Pero es Dios quien me ayuda,
mi Señor está con los que me protegen.
7 Que el mal se vuelva contra mis rivales
y tú, por tu fidelidad, hazlos perecer.
8 Te ofreceré sacrificios voluntarios,
alabaré tu nombre, Señor, porque es bueno.
9 Él me ha librado de todas mis angustias
y he visto a mis enemigos derrotados.

54 Al Músico principal: en Neginoth: Masquil de David, cuando vinieron los Zipheos y dijeron á Saúl: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierrra? OH Dios, sálvame por tu nombre, Y con tu poder defiéndeme.
2 Oh Dios, oye mi oración; Escucha las razones de mi boca.
3 Porque extraños se han levantado contra mí, Y fuertes buscan mi alma: No han puesto á Dios delante de sí. (Selah.)
4 He aquí, Dios es el que me ayuda; El Señor es con los que sostienen mi vida.
5 El volverá el mal á mis enemigos: Córtalos por tu verdad.
6 Voluntariamente sacrificaré á ti; Alabaré tu nombre, oh Jehová, porque es bueno.
7 Porque me ha librado de toda angustia, Y en mis enemigos vieron mis ojos mi deseo.

1 Save me(B), O God, by your name;(C)
vindicate me by your might.(D)
2 Hear my prayer, O God;(E)
listen to the words of my mouth.

54 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
