5 Escucha, Señor, mis palabras;
toma en cuenta mi gemido.
2 Presta atención a mis súplicas,
Rey mío y Dios mío,
porque a ti yo oro.
3 Por la mañana, Señor, escuchas mi clamor;
por la mañana te presento mis ruegos
y quedo a la espera de tu respuesta.
4 Tú no eres un Dios que se complace en lo malo;
a tu lado no tienen cabida los malvados.
5 No hay lugar en tu presencia para los altivos,
pues aborreces a todos los malhechores.
6 Tú destruyes a los mentirosos
y detestas a los asesinos y traidores.
7 Pero yo, por tu gran amor
puedo entrar en tu casa;
puedo postrarme reverente
hacia tu santo Templo.
8 Señor, por causa de mis enemigos,
dirígeme en tu justicia;
endereza tu senda delante de mí.
9 En sus palabras no hay sinceridad;
en su interior solo hay corrupción.
Su garganta es un sepulcro abierto;
de su lengua salen engaños.
10 ¡Condénalos, oh Dios!
¡Que caigan por sus propias intrigas!
¡Recházalos por la multitud de sus crímenes,
porque se han rebelado contra ti!
11 Pero que se alegren todos los que en ti buscan refugio;
¡que canten siempre jubilosos!
Extiéndeles tu protección y que en ti se regocijen

1 Ascultă-mi plângerea, Doamne,
ia aminte la suspinul meu!
2 Ascultă strigătul meu,
Împăratul meu şi Dumnezeul meu,
căci Ţie mă rog!
3 Doamne, ascultă-mi glasul dimineaţa,
dimineaţa când stau gata pregătit înaintea Ta şi aştept.
4 Căci Tu nu eşti un Dumnezeu Căruia să-I placă răutatea
iar cel rău nu-Ţi poate sta în preajmă.
5 Nici lăudăroşii nu pot sta înaintea ochilor Tăi,
iar Tu îi urăşti pe toţi cei ce săvârşesc nelegiuirea
6 şi-i dai pierzării pe cei ce rostesc minciuni.
Domnul îi detestă pe oamenii setoşi de sânge şi înşelători.
7 Eu însă, prin marea Ta îndurare[b],
voi intra în Casa Ta
şi, în frică de Tine,
mă voi prosterna cu faţa spre Templul[c] Tău cel sfânt.
8 Doamne, condu-mă cu dreptatea Ta,
din pricina duşmanilor mei!
Netezeşte cărarea Ta înaintea mea!
9 Căci nu este nimic adevărat în gura lor,
iar inima le este plină de nimicire.
Gâtlejul le este un mormânt deschis;
cu limbile lor ei înşală[d].
10 Osândeşte-i, Dumnezeule!
Să cadă prin propriile lor uneltiri!
Pentru multele lor păcate, izgoneşte-i,
căci s-au răzvrătit împotriva Ta!
11 Să se bucure toţi cei ce-şi găsesc refugiul în Tine!
Pe vecie să strige de bucurie!
Ocroteşte-i Tu,
ca să strige de bucurie
toţi cei ce iubesc Numele Tău.
12 Căci Tu îi binecuvântezi pe cei drepţi, Doamne,
iar bunăvoinţa Ta le ţine loc de scut.

A Prayer for Guidance and Protection
For the music director; with the flutes. A psalm of David.[a]
5 Hear my words, O Yahweh.
Give heed to my sighing.[b]
2 Listen to the sound of my pleading,[c] my king and my God,
for to you I pray.
3 O Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice.
In the morning I will set forth[d] my case to you and I will watch.[e]
4 For you are not a God who desires[f] wickedness.
Evil cannot dwell with you.
5 The boastful do not stand before[g] your eyes.
You hate all evildoers.
6 You destroy speakers of lies.[h]
A man of bloodshed[i] and deceit Yahweh abhors.
7 But as for me,[j] through the abundance of your steadfast love[k]
I will enter your house.[l]
I will bow down[m] toward your holy temple[n] in awe of you.
8 O Yahweh, lead me in your righteousness because of my enemies;
make straight before me your way.
9 For there is not anything reliable in his mouth;
their inner part is destruction.[o]
Their throat is an open grave;
with their tongue they speak deceit.[p]
10 Treat them as guilty, O God;
let them fall because of their plans.
Because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out,
for they have rebelled against you.
11 But let all who take shelter in you rejoice.
Let them ever[q] sing for joy,
because[r] you spread protection over them;
And let those[s] who love your name exult in you.
12 For you bless the righteous.
O Yahweh, like a[t] shield you surround him with good favor.

for to you I pray.
3 In the morning,(E) Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.(F)
4 For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
with you, evil people(G) are not welcome.
5 The arrogant(H) cannot stand(I)
in your presence.
You hate(J) all who do wrong;
6 you destroy those who tell lies.(K)
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
you, Lord, detest.
7 But I, by your great love,
can come into your house;
in reverence(L) I bow down(M)
toward your holy temple.(N)
8 Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness(O)
because of my enemies—
make your way straight(P) before me.
9 Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
their heart is filled with malice.
Their throat is an open grave;(Q)

10 Declare them guilty, O God!
Let their intrigues be their downfall.
