4 Responde a mi clamor,
Dios mío y defensor mío.
Dame alivio cuando esté angustiado,
apiádate de mí y escucha mi oración.
2 Y vosotros, señores,
¿hasta cuándo cambiaréis mi gloria en vergüenza?
¿Hasta cuándo amaréis ídolos vanos
e iréis en pos de lo ilusorio? Selah
3 Sabed que el Señor honra al que le es fiel;
el Señor me escucha cuando lo llamo.
4 Si os enojáis, no pequéis;
en la quietud del descanso nocturno
examinaos el corazón. Selah
5 Ofreced sacrificios de justicia
y confiad en el Señor.
6 Muchos son los que dicen:
«¿Quién puede mostrarnos algún bien?»
¡Haz, Señor, que sobre nosotros
brille la luz de tu rostro!
7 Tú has hecho que mi corazón rebose de alegría,
alegría mayor que la que tienen los que disfrutan de trigo y vino en abundancia.
8 En paz me acuesto y me duermo,
porque solo tú, Señor, me haces vivir confiado.

4 Respóndeme cuando clamo, oh Dios de mi justicia.
Cuando estaba en angustia, tú me hiciste ensanchar;
Ten misericordia de mí, y oye mi oración.
2 Hijos de los hombres, ¿hasta cuándo volveréis mi honra en infamia,
Amaréis la vanidad, y buscaréis la mentira? Selah
3 Sabed, pues, que Jehová ha escogido al piadoso para sí;
Jehová oirá cuando yo a él clamare.
4 Temblad, y no pequéis;(A)
Meditad en vuestro corazón estando en vuestra cama, y callad. Selah
5 Ofreced sacrificios de justicia,
Y confiad en Jehová.
6 Muchos son los que dicen: ¿Quién nos mostrará el bien?
Alza sobre nosotros, oh Jehová, la luz de tu rostro.
7 Tú diste alegría a mi corazón
Mayor que la de ellos cuando abundaba su grano y su mosto.

4 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

2 How long will you people turn my glory(E) into shame?(F)
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods[b]?[c](G)
3 Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant(H) for himself;
the Lord hears(I) when I call to him.
4 Tremble and[d] do not sin;(J)
when you are on your beds,(K)
search your hearts and be silent.
5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous
