3 Salmo de David compuesto cuando huía de su hijo Absalón.
¡Oh SEÑOR, cuánto se han multiplicado mis enemigos! Muchos son los que se levantan contra mí.
2 Muchos dicen acerca de mí:
“¡Dios no lo librará!”. Selah[a]
3 Pero tú, oh SEÑOR,
eres escudo alrededor de mí; eres mi gloria y el que levanta mi cabeza.
4 Con mi voz clamé al SEÑOR,
y él me respondió desde su
santo monte. Selah[b]
5 Yo me acosté y dormí.
Desperté, porque el SEÑOR me sostuvo.
6 No temeré a las decenas de millares del pueblo que han puesto sitio contra mí.
7 ¡Levántate, oh SEÑOR!
¡Sálvame, Dios mío!
Porque a todos mis enemigos has golpeado en la mejilla,
y has quebrantado los dientes de los impíos.
8 Del SEÑOR viene la salvación. ¡Sobre tu pueblo sea tu bendición! Selah[c]

1 Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.(B)”[b]
3 But you, Lord, are a shield(C) around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.(D)
4 I call out to the Lord,(E)
and he answers me from his holy mountain.(F)
5 I lie down and sleep;(G)
I wake again,(H) because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear(I) though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.(J)
