Salmo de David.
25 A ti, oh Señor, elevo mi alma(A).
2 Dios mío, en ti confío(B);
no sea yo avergonzado(C),
que no se regocijen sobre mí mis enemigos(D).
3 Ciertamente ninguno de los que esperan en ti será avergonzado(E);
sean[a] avergonzados los que sin causa se rebelan[b](F).
4 Señor, muéstrame tus caminos,
y enséñame tus sendas(G).
5 Guíame en tu verdad y enséñame(H),
porque tú eres el Dios de mi salvación(I);
en ti espero todo el día(J).
6 Acuérdate, oh Señor, de tu compasión y de tus misericordias(K),
que son eternas(L).
7 No te acuerdes de los pecados de mi juventud(M) ni de mis transgresiones;
acuérdate de mí conforme a tu misericordia(N),
por tu bondad(O), oh Señor.
8 Bueno(P) y recto es el Señor(Q);
por tanto, Él muestra a los pecadores[c] el camino(R).
9 Dirige a los humildes[d] en la justicia(S),
y enseña a los humildes[e] su camino(T).
10 Todas las sendas del Señor son misericordia y verdad(U)
para aquellos que guardan su pacto y sus testimonios(V).
11 Oh Señor, por amor de tu nombre(W),
perdona mi iniquidad(X), porque es grande.
12 ¿Quién es el hombre que teme al Señor(Y)?
Él le instruirá en el camino que debe escoger(Z).
13 En prosperidad[f] habitará su alma(AA),
y su descendencia[g] poseerá la tierra(AB).
14 Los secretos del Señor son[h] para los que le temen(AC),
y Él les dará a conocer su pacto[i](AD).
15 De continuo están mis ojos hacia el Señor(AE),
porque Él sacará mis pies de la red(AF).
16 Vuélvete a mí y tenme piedad(AG),
porque estoy solitario y afligido(AH).
17 Las angustias de mi corazón han aumentado[j](AI);
sácame de mis congojas(AJ).
18 Mira mi aflicción y mis trabajos(AK),
y perdona todos mis pecados(AL).
19 Mira mis enemigos, que son muchos(AM),
y con odio violento me detestan(AN).
20 Guarda mi alma y líbrame(AO);
no sea yo avergonzado(AP), porque en ti me refugio.
21 La integridad y la rectitud me preserven(AQ),
porque en ti espero(AR).
22 Oh Dios, redime a Israel
de todas sus angustias(AS).

25 1-2 Mi Señor y Dios,
a ti dirijo mis ruegos
porque en ti confío.
No me hagas pasar vergüenza;
no permitas que mis enemigos
se burlen de mí.
3 Tampoco dejes que pasen vergüenza
los que en ti confían;
¡la vergüenza deben pasarla
los que traicionan a otros!
4-5 Dios mío,
enséñame a vivir
como tú siempre has querido.
Tú eres mi Dios y salvador,
y en ti siempre confío.
6-7 Dios mío,
por tu amor y tu bondad
acuérdate de mí.
Recuerda que siempre me has mostrado
tu ternura y gran amor;
pero olvídate de los pecados
que cometí cuando era joven.
8-10 Dios mío, tú eres bueno
y siempre actúas con justicia.
Enseñas a los pecadores
a hacer lo bueno;
enseñas a los humildes
a hacer lo bueno y lo justo.
Con quienes cumplen tu pacto
y obedecen tus mandamientos

es muy grande mi maldad;
pero por todo lo que tú eres,
te ruego que me perdones.
12 A los que te honran,
tú les muestras cómo deben vivir.
13 Mientras vivan, les irá bien,

14 Tú, mi Dios, te haces amigo
de aquellos que te honran,
y les das a conocer tu pacto.
15 Siempre dirijo a ti mis ojos,
pues sólo tú puedes librarme
de todo peligro.
16 Mírame, y tenme compasión,
pues estoy solo y afligido.
17 Más y más mi corazón
se va llenando de angustia;
¡quítame la tristeza!
18 Toma en cuenta que me encuentro
afligido y con problemas;
¡perdona todos mis pecados!
19 ¡Mira cuántos enemigos tengo!
¡Mira su odio tan violento contra mí!
20 ¡Líbrame de ellos!

¡No dejes que me maten,
porque en ti busco refugio!
21 En ti he puesto mi confianza.
Mi honradez y mi inocencia

25 1 The Prophet touched with the consideration of his sins, and also grieved with the cruel malice of his enemies, 6 Prayeth to God most fervently to have his sins forgiven. 7 Especially such as he had committed in his youth. He beginneth every verse according to the Hebrew letters, two or three except.
A Psalm of David.
1 Unto thee, [a]O Lord, lift I up my soul.
2 My God, I [b]trust in thee; let me not be confounded: let not mine enemies rejoice over me.
3 (A)So all that hope in thee, shall not be ashamed; but let them be confounded, that transgress without cause.
4 [c]Show me thy ways, O Lord, and teach me thy paths.
5 Lead me forth in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation: in thee do I trust [d]all the day.
6 Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies, and thy lovingkindness: for they have been forever.
7 Remember not the [e]sins of my youth, nor my rebellions, but according to thy kindness remember thou me, even for thy goodness sake, O Lord.
8 Gracious and righteous is the Lord: therefore will he [f]teach sinners in the way.
9 Them that be meek, will he [g]guide in judgment, and teach the humble his way.
10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies:
11 For thy [h]Name’s sake, O Lord, be merciful unto mine iniquity, for it is great.
12 What [i]man is he that feareth the Lord? him will he teach the way that he shall [j]choose.
13 His soul shall dwell at [k]ease, and his seed shall inherit the land.
14 The [l]secret of the Lord is revealed to them that fear him: and his Covenant to give them understanding.
15 Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord: for he will bring my feet out of the net.
16 Turn thy face unto me, and have mercy upon me: for I am desolate and poor.
17 The sorrows of mine heart [m]are enlarged: draw me out of my troubles.
18 Look upon mine affliction and my travail, and forgive all my sins.
19 Behold mine [n]enemies, for they are many, and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Keep my soul and deliver me: let me not be confounded: for I trust in thee.
21 Let [o]mine uprightness and equity preserve me; for mine hope is in thee.
22 Deliver Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

- Psalm 25:21 Forasmuch as I have behaved myself uprightly toward mine enemies, let them know that thou art the defender of my just cause.
