25 Salmo de David. A TI, oh Jehová, levantaré mi alma.
2 Dios mío, en ti confío; No sea yo avergonzado, No se alegren de mí mis enemigos.
3 Ciertamente ninguno de cuantos en ti esperan será confundido: Serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.
4 Muéstrame, oh Jehová, tus caminos; Enséñame tus sendas.
5 Encamíname en tu verdad, y enséñame; Porque tú eres el Dios de mi salud: En ti he esperado todo el día.
6 Acuérdate, oh Jehová, de tus conmiseraciones y de tus misericordias, Que son perpetuas.
7 De los pecados de mi mocedad, y de mis rebeliones, no te acuerdes; Conforme á tu misericordia acuérdate de mí, Por tu bondad, oh Jehová.
8 Bueno y recto es Jehová: Por tanto él enseñará á los pecadores el camino.
9 Encaminará á los humildes por el juicio, Y enseñará á los mansos su carrera.
10 Todas las sendas de Jehová son misericordia y verdad, Para los que guardan su pacto y sus testimonios.
11 Por amor de tu nombre, oh Jehová, Perdonarás también mi pecado; porque es grande.
12 ¿Quién es el hombre que teme á Jehová? El le enseñará el camino que ha de escoger.
13 Su alma reposará en el bien, Y su simiente heredará la tierra.
14 El secreto de Jehová es para los que le temen; Y á ellos hará conocer su alianza.
15 Mis ojos están siempre hacia Jehová; Porque él sacará mis pies de la red.
16 Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí; Porque estoy solo y afligido.
17 Las angustias de mi corazón se han aumentado: Sácame de mis congojas.
18 Mira mi aflicción y mi trabajo: Y perdona todos mis pecados.
19 Mira mis enemigos, que se han multiplicado, Y con odio violento me aborrecen.
20 Guarda mi alma, y líbrame: No sea yo avergonzado, porque en ti confié.
21 Integridad y rectitud me guarden; Porque en ti he esperado.
22 Redime, oh Dios, á Israel De todas sus angustias.

25 Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.
8 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For thy name's sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12 What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
15 Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

25 Lord, I offer myself to you.
2 I trust in you, my God.
Please do not let me be ashamed.
Do not let my enemies laugh at me,
because they are stronger than me.
3 Surely nobody who trusts in you
will become ashamed.
But those who like to deceive others
will become ashamed.
4 Lord, help me to understand your ways.
Teach me your good paths.[b]
5 Please be my guide and teach me your truth.
I trust you every day,
because you are the God who keeps me safe.
6 Lord, please be kind to me
and show me your faithful love.
From long ago you have always been like that.
7 Do not punish me for the sins that I did long ago.
When I was young, I turned against you.
Please be kind to me, because of your faithful love!
8 The Lord is good and he does what is right.
Because of that, he teaches sinners the right way to live.
9 He is a guide for humble people,
so that they know what is right.
He teaches them to follow his way.
10 The Lord is kind to his people
in everything that he does.
He shows his faithful love
to those who obey the rules of his covenant.
11 Lord, my sins are very many.
Please forgive me,
and show that your name is great.
12 If people respect the Lord,
the Lord will show them the right way to live.
13 People like that will enjoy a good life.
The land will belong to their descendants.
14 The Lord is a guide for those who serve him.
He teaches them to obey his covenant.
15 I always look to the Lord for help.
He will keep me safe from my enemies,
so that their traps do not catch me.
16 Please turn towards me, Lord,
and be kind to me.
I feel very weak and lonely.
17 I worry a lot about my troubles.
Please rescue me from them!
18 Look at all my pain!
See how I am suffering!
Forgive me for all my sins.
19 Look at all my enemies!
There are very many of them!
They hate me so much
that they want to hurt me.
20 Keep my life safe and take care of me.
I have come to you to keep me safe,
so do not let me be ashamed.
21 I trust you to save me.
Please take care of me,
because I am honest and good.
22 God, save Israel's people from all their troubles!

- 25:1 This psalm is an alphabet psalm, like Psalms 9 and 10. Verse 1 begins with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Verse 2 begins with the second letter and so on. There are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet but this psalm misses out the letter q. Verse 22 is separate from the alphabet verses.
