El Rey del universo

SALMO 24 (23)

Himno de David.

24 Dios es dueño de toda la tierra
y de todo lo que hay en ella;
también es dueño del mundo
y de todos sus habitantes.
Dios afirmó la tierra
sobre el agua de los mares;
Dios afirmó este mundo
sobre el agua de los ríos.

Sólo puede subir al monte de Dios
y entrar en su santo templo
el que siempre hace lo bueno
y jamás piensa hacer lo malo;
el que no adora a dioses falsos
ni hace juramentos en su nombre.
Al que es así,
Dios lo llena de bendiciones;
¡Dios, su Salvador, le da la victoria!

Dios de Israel,
así son todos los que te buscan;
así son los que a ti acuden.

«¡Abran los portones de Jerusalén!
¡Dejen abiertas sus antiguas entradas!
¡Está pasando el Rey poderoso!»

«¿Y quién es este Rey poderoso?»

«¡Es el Dios de Israel;
Dios fuerte y valiente!
¡Es nuestro Dios,
el valiente guerrero!»

«¡Abran los portones de Jerusalén!
¡Dejen abiertas sus antiguas entradas!
¡Está pasando el Rey poderoso!»

10 «¿Y quién es este Rey poderoso?»

«¡Es el Dios de Israel,
el Rey poderoso!
¡Él es el Dios del universo!»

The King of Glory and His Kingdom

A Psalm of David.

24 The (A)earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has (B)founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the [a]waters.

(C)Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has (D)clean hands and (E)a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor (F)sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who (G)seek Him,
Who seek Your face. Selah

(H)Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
(I)And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in (J)battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah
