El Señor protege a Su pueblo
Cántico de ascenso gradual.
125 Los que confían en el Señor
Son como el monte Sión, que es inconmovible(A), que permanece para siempre(B).
2 Como los montes rodean a Jerusalén,
Así el Señor rodea a Su pueblo(C)
Desde ahora y para siempre(D).
3 Pues el cetro de la impiedad(E) no descansará sobre la tierra de los justos,
Para que los justos no extiendan sus manos para hacer el mal(F).
4 ¶Haz bien, Señor, a los buenos(G)
Y a los rectos de corazón(H).
5 Pero a los que se desvían(I) por sus caminos torcidos(J),
El Señor los llevará con los que hacen iniquidad(K).
¡Paz sea sobre Israel(L)!

Cántico de los peregrinos.
125 Los que confían en el Señor son como el monte Sión:
jamás caerá y permanece para siempre.
2 Como rodean los montes a Jerusalén,
así rodea el Señor a su pueblo,
desde ahora y para siempre.
3 No prevalecerá el poder de los malvados
sobre la heredad asignada a los justos,
para que nunca los justos extiendan
sus manos hacia la maldad.
4 Haz bien, Señor, a los que son buenos,
a los rectos de corazón.
5 Pero a los que van por caminos torcidos
deséchalos, Señor, junto con los malhechores.
¡Que haya paz en Israel!

A Song of Ascents.
125 Those who trust in the Lord
Are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.
3 For (A)the scepter of wickedness shall not rest
On the land allotted to the righteous,
Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good,
And to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside to their (B)crooked ways,
The Lord shall lead them away
With the workers of iniquity.
(C)Peace be upon Israel!

125 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
