Salmo 121 (120)

El Señor es quien te cuida

121 Cántico de peregrinación.
Levanto mis ojos a los montes,
¿de dónde me vendrá el auxilio?
Mi auxilio viene del Señor,
que hizo el cielo y la tierra.
No dejará que tropiece tu pie,
no dormirá quien te protege.
No duerme, no está dormido
el protector de Israel.
El Señor es quien te cuida,
es tu sombra protectora.
De día el sol no te hará daño,
ni la luna de noche.
El Señor te protege de todo mal,
él protege tu vida.
El Señor protege tus idas y venidas
desde ahora y para siempre.

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven(A) and earth.(B)

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches(C) over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over(D) you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun(E) will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm(F)
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.(G)

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
