Salmo 114
1 Quando Israel saiu do Egito,
e a casa de Jacó saiu do meio
de um povo de língua estrangeira,
2 Judá tornou-se o santuário de Deus,
Israel o seu domínio.
3 O mar olhou e fugiu,
o Jordão retrocedeu;
4 os montes saltaram como carneiros,
as colinas, como cordeiros.
5 Por que fugir, ó mar?
E você, Jordão, por que retroceder?
6 Por que vocês saltaram como carneiros,
ó montes?
E vocês, colinas, porque saltaram
como cordeiros?
7 Estremeça na presença do Soberano, ó terra,
na presença do Deus de Jacó!
8 Ele fez da rocha um açude,
do rochedo uma fonte.

The little hills like lambs.
5 (H)What ails you, O sea, that you fled?
O Jordan, that you turned back?
6 O mountains, that you skipped like rams?
O little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the God of Jacob,

The flint into a fountain of waters.
