Prosperidad del que teme al Señor

112 ¡Aleluya[a]!
Poderosa en la tierra será su descendencia[c](C);
Luz resplandece en las tinieblas para el que es recto(F);
Él es clemente, compasivo y justo(G).
Bien le va al hombre que se apiada y presta(H);
arreglará sus asuntos con juicio[d].
Porque nunca será sacudido(I);

No temerá recibir malas noticias(K);
Con liberalidad[f] ha dado a los pobres(Q);
su justicia permanece para siempre;

10 Lo verá el impío y se irritará(S);
rechinará los dientes(T) y se consumirá(U);
el deseo de los impíos perecerá(V).

The Blessed State of the Righteous

112 Praise[a] the Lord!

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
Who (A)delights greatly in His commandments.

(B)His descendants will be mighty on earth;
The generation of the upright will be blessed.
(C)Wealth and riches will be in his house,
And his righteousness [b]endures forever.
(D)Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness;
He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
(E)A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs (F)with discretion.
Surely he will never be shaken;
(G)The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
(H)He will not be afraid of evil tidings;
His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
His (I)heart is established;
(J)He will not be afraid,
Until he (K)sees his desire upon his enemies.

He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever;
His [c]horn will be exalted with honor.
10 The wicked will see it and be grieved;
He will gnash his teeth and melt away;
The desire of the wicked shall perish.

The Righteous Will Never Be Moved

112 [a] (A)Praise the Lord!

He is not (M)afraid of bad news;
    his (N)heart is firm, (O)trusting in the Lord.
His heart is steady;[b] he will not be afraid,
    until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
He has (P)distributed freely; he has given to the poor;
    his righteousness endures forever;
    his (Q)horn is exalted in honor.
10 The wicked man sees it and is angry;
    he (R)gnashes his teeth and (S)melts away;
    (T)the desire of the wicked will perish!
