Louvor ao Senhor
111 Aleluia!
Darei graças ao SENHOR com todo o meu coração,
na reunião dos justos, diante da assembleia.
2 Maravilhosas são as obras do SENHOR
para quem as aprecia.
3 Esplêndidos e gloriosos são os seus feitos,
tudo o que ele faz é bom e dura para sempre.
4 O SENHOR faz as suas maravilhas para nos lembrar
da sua bondade e da sua compaixão.
5 Ele dá comida àqueles que o respeitam
e se lembra sempre da sua aliança.
6 Ele mostrou o seu poder ao seu povo,
dando-lhes as terras de outras nações.
7 Tudo o que ele faz é bom e justo,
podemos confiar em todos os seus mandamentos.
8 Eles permanecem para sempre
e devem ser cumpridos com verdade e honestidade.
9 Ele deu liberdade ao seu povo
e fez com eles uma aliança eterna.
O seu nome é santo e temível!
10 O respeito pelo SENHOR é o princípio da sabedoria;
todos os que cumprem os seus mandamentos mostram que são inteligentes.
Que seja louvado para sempre!

Psalm 111[a]
111 Praise the Lord!
I thank the Lord with all my heart
in the company of those who do right, in the congregation.
2 The works of the Lord are magnificent;
they are treasured by all who desire them.
3 God’s deeds are majestic and glorious.
God’s righteousness stands forever.
4 God is famous for his wondrous works.
The Lord is full of mercy and compassion.
5 God gives food to those who honor him.
God remembers his covenant forever.
6 God proclaimed his powerful deeds to his people
and gave them what had belonged to other nations.
7 God’s handiwork is honesty and justice;
all God’s rules are trustworthy—
8 they are established always and forever:
they are fulfilled with truth and right doing.
9 God sent redemption for his people;
God commanded that his covenant last forever.
Holy and awesome is God’s name!
10 Fear of the Lord is where wisdom begins;
sure knowledge is for all who keep God’s laws.
God’s praise lasts forever!

1 Praise the Lord.[b]
I will extol the Lord(A) with all my heart(B)
in the council(C) of the upright and in the assembly.(D)
2 Great are the works(E) of the Lord;
they are pondered by all(F) who delight in them.
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
and his righteousness endures(G) forever.
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and compassionate.(H)
5 He provides food(I) for those who fear him;(J)
he remembers his covenant(K) forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works,(L)
giving them the lands of other nations.(M)
7 The works of his hands(N) are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy.(O)
8 They are established for ever(P) and ever,
enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He provided redemption(Q) for his people;
he ordained his covenant forever—
holy and awesome(R) is his name.

111 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
